Netflix released Love is Blind UK episode 4 on Wednesday, August 7, 2024. It is a social experiment focused on 30 individuals who come to the show to find their potential romantic partner.
Participants go on different blind dates through pods and then choose who they want to explore further connection with, and eventually end up selecting their fiance, without seeing them. Only after choosing one another do participants get engaged, and then they lay eyes on their partner for the first time.
During the fourth episode of Love is Blind UK, the show featured the first meeting between Ollie, 33, software sales and Demi, 30, safeguarding and attendance manager, among others. After seeing each other for the first time, the duo seemed really happy, while Ollie shared in the confessional:
"Wow! I’m blown away. She’s ten times more beautiful than I ever could have imagined. She is curvy in all the right places. I was not one bit disappointed."
How was Ollie and Demi’s first meeting on Love is Blind UK?
Love is Blind UK episode 7 saw the first meeting between Ollie and Demi, who chose each other as their partners and got engaged during the episode. Before their first meeting, Ollie shared in the confessional that he didn’t fall in love with Demi because he was envisioning someone who looked a certain way.
He fell in love with her because Demi made him feel safe to open up. He also added that she threw an amazing birthday for her when he was missing his family earlier on Love is Blind UK.
When the doors opened, and they laid eyes on each other for the very first time, both of them couldn’t stop smiling, as they liked each other even more. After seeing Demi for the very first time, Ollie confessed that he was blown away and added that she was ten times more beautiful than he ever could imagined.
He then proposed to Demi, with a ring this time, while they were physically face-to-face.
"We’ve been through so much together in such a short amount of time, but what feels like such a lifetime as well. Demi, will you marry me?" Ollie proposed.
After Demi’s affirmative answer, he gave her a ring, and they enjoyed their time together during the first meeting. When Ollie asked whether he was what she expected, Demi replied that she didn’t have a face, but she visualized someone who was like, “My guy.” To which, Ollie replied:
"Yeah, I am your guy."
After their meeting, Ollie confessed that he couldn’t stop smiling and that not many things get him like that.
"I fell in love with her heart and her mind, not her face and her body. It just happens that she has a beautiful face and an amazing body to go with it." He added.
Demi shared that she was in her fairy tale and that she was in love.
