Got to Get Out, the Hulu reality TV show, introduced viewers to contestants who compete to secure the million-dollar prize fund. Each player has to complete challenges and tasks to fill the pot money. Locked in a mansion away from the outside world, each contestant gets a clue and a chance to run away with the prize fund by plotting an escape.
In a conversation with TV Insider on April 17, 2025, the Got to Get Out cast member and The Golden Bachelor alum opened up about her experience being part of the reality competition series. Despite not having watched much reality TV, Susan was looking forward to showcasing her skills in this game of alliances and deception.
Susan shared that she was authentically herself on the show. She continued:
“It’s still me. The best part of reality TV for me is I get to be me. I’m not acting. I’m not trying to sell something that I’m not. I am who I am.”
The show format is described as:
"Participants living in a mansion for 10 days vie for a cash prize that increases by $1 each second they’re in the game. As contestants compete in physical and mental challenges, more money will be added to “the pot,” with up to $1 million at stake."
Got to Get Out star Susan Noles shares her first impression of his fellow castmates
In her interview, Got to Get Out star Susan Noles talked about her first interaction with Omarosa Manigault. Susan shared that she was not much aware of the reality TV world and wasn't familiar with the well-renowned faces from shows such as The Real Housewives. When Susan told Omarosa that she doesn't watch reality TV, Omarosa's reaction made Susan question if she was "going to be intimidated." Susan narrated the interaction by stating:
“When I said, ‘I don’t watch reality TV,’ Omarosa came walking over and stood in my face and said, ‘You do not say, ‘I don’t watch reality TV,’ here.’ I had three seconds to decide if I was going to be intimidated. And I took two more steps and went right [up to her], and said, ‘I just did!'”
At first, Susan formed a friendship with Demi Burnett when the contestants entered the mansion. She shared that despite the tensions between her and Omarosa, they both became friends during their time in the mansion. The Got to Get Out star said:
“When I walked in the door of the mansion, we were to mingle, and Demi [Burnett] was next to me, and I heard someone speak, and I went, ‘Who the hell is that? She’s rude,' [Demi said], ‘Susan, you don’t know who that is? She’s known for her villainous [ways].'”
Additionally, Susan got the opportunity to escape but failed to do so after multiple attempts. Meanwhile, Cynthia Bailey received a clue in Episode 5, which she used to her advantage by partnering up with Stein Retzlaff; they both took $156,030 each. The sixteen players, after Clare Crawley and Jill Ashlock's departure, split $687,940 evenly.
All eight episodes of Got to Get Out season 1 are available to stream on Hulu.
