Reality TV friendships can be just as messy as the love stories—just ask Summer House and Southern Charm’s Paige DeSorbo. During her April 23 sit-down on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, Paige didn’t hold back while unpacking the fallout from her November breakup with Southern Charm’s Craig Conover.

Turns out, it wasn’t just a romantic split; some friendships didn’t survive the breakup either. One that especially stung? Her once-solid bond with Madison LeCroy now seems to be hanging by a very dramatic thread.

"I was really sad about that, because I loved Madison," Paige told host Andy Cohen during the interview.

Exclaiming:

"Like, I really thought we were close."

The 32-year-old fashion enthusiast and Conover ended their three-year relationship last fall, creating ripple effects throughout their interconnected Bravo circles.

As stars of different shows within the same network universe, their breakup hasn't just affected them personally but has seemingly forced mutual friends to choose sides. DeSorbo's revelations shed light on how these reality TV friend groups navigate post-relationship fallouts when cameras aren't rolling.

According to DeSorbo, the cracks in her friendship with LeCroy began forming even before she and Conover officially called it quits.

"A couple months prior to the breakup, I had heard through people that she was saying some not-so-nice stuff about me," the Giggly Squad podcast co-host explained.

This behind-the-scenes gossip created an uncomfortable foundation that would later collapse entirely when DeSorbo and Conover ended their relationship.

The final straw came in January when LeCroy reached out to DeSorbo, but the timing and content of the message left DeSorbo feeling the interaction was disingenuous.

"She texted me in the middle of January, but it was more about the attention it was getting. It wasn't really a check-in," DeSorbo revealed.

Declaring:

"I was like, 'I don't need to give anyone tea right now.'"

Shortly after the fallout, Southern Charm guest star DeSorbo picked up on a not-so-subtle shift; her former friend seemed to have switched teams.

Realizing the loyalty lines had been redrawn in favor of her ex, she decided to bow out gracefully. It stung a little, especially since she genuinely thought they were friends, but sometimes it’s just easier to walk away than try to decode someone else's group chat loyalties.

She revealed:

"I was like, 'It's best to just leave it.' That's [his] friend. But I do like her. I thought we were friends, but I don't know."

LeCroy wasn't the only Southern Charm cast member DeSorbo lost touch with post-breakup. She also mentioned Austen Kroll's absence from her life since the split.

"Of all the boys down there, I always felt closest to Austen," she shared with Cohen.

Explaining:

"We always had the same humor."

The silence from Kroll was particularly glaring, given their previously strong connection, highlighting how breakups often force mutual friends to take sides.

The aftermath and moving forward

Despite the friendship casualties, DeSorbo appears to be handling the aftermath of her relationship with remarkable grace. When asked about Southern Charm's Conover's new romance with model Natalie Buffett, she offered a surprisingly positive response.

"I love it, I'm so happy for him," she stated simply.

As for her own romantic life, DeSorbo confirmed she's "absolutely dating people," suggesting she's embracing her single status and looking toward the future rather than dwelling on past relationships—or lost friendships.

The situation underscores the complex dynamics at play when reality stars from interconnected shows date and break up. What begins as a cross-show romance can end with divided friend groups and awkward encounters at Bravo events. For fans of both shows, the upcoming seasons of Summer House and Southern Charm may reveal more about how these fractured friendships continue to evolve—or if they can be repaired at all.
