The show is set against the backdrop of a luxury resort, showcasing the lives of wealthy guests and staff intersecting to create a dramatic and dark web of secrets and tension. Season 1 was shot in Hawaii, while season 2 was set in Italy.
Greg is introduced in season 1 as a reserved and mysterious character who meets Tanya, his future wife, and falls for her. However, it is suggested that he was actually more interested in her money than in her. He also faked having a terminal illness, for which Tanya provided financial support.
In season 2, Tanya, now Greg's wife, is seen going on a trip to Sicily with him. However, Greg suddenly leaves, giving the excuse of a mysterious work trip, leaving Tanya alone. As the season progresses, Greg’s true intentions are revealed—Tanya discovers that her beloved husband is plotting to kill her with the help of Quentin to inherit her wealth. Devastated by the betrayal, Tanya fights back, killing Quentin and his men in retaliation. Desperate to escape from the yacht during the shootout, she tragically slips, hitting her head on the side of a small boat before drowning.
Season 3 features Greg—now going by Gary—once again, raising the question of whether he still has cruel intentions as he dates Chloe, whom he met in Dubai through matchmaking services in The White Lotus.
