"I hate guns": Million Dollar Secret's Cara becomes emotional while recalling late brother's tragic passing

Cara, a participant on Million Dollar Secret, became visibly emotional as she recalled the tragic passing of her brother during a confessional in Episode 2, "The Five Suspects". The Netflix reality series, which aired its latest episode on March 26, 2025, featured a clay pigeon shooting challenge, where participants were divided into two teams and tasked with hitting the clays using guns. This compelled Cara to confront her deep-seated fear of guns.

Fighting back tears, she admits to the camera:

"I've never been around guns. I hate guns. But I just keep telling myself that I'll be okay."

Million Dollar Secret Episode 2: Participants divided into two teams for the 'Clay Pigeon' shooting game

During the second episode, show host Peter Serafinowicz announced to the contestants that for their next activity, they would all go out. After arriving at the activity area, he explained the challenge to them:

"We are going to practice sharpening your aim in a clay pigeon shooting game. You'll split into two teams, and each of you will take turns as the shooter representing your team. The first team to hit three clays wins access to the trophy room, where they will get information on the millionaire," said the host.

Then he proceeded to choose captains for the two teams: Lydia and Chris, each of whom was then given the choice to select their teammates:

• Team Chris: Chris, Kyle, Sydnee, Lauren, Jaimi, Sam
• Team Lydia: Lydia, Se Young, Corey, Phil, Cara

Everyone took their turn to shoot; while some missed, a few participants successfully hit the clay pigeon. When Cara's turn came, she confessed to the cameras that she had never been around guns.

In her confession, the 29-year-old broke down as she revealed her brother's demise:

"My brother was murdered unexpectedly when he was 14. And it was just something that was so devastating. But my brother was a badass...and he would be so pissed...if I did not do this challenge and I walked away."

As Cara stepped up for her turn, she was successful at shooting the clay pigeon, earning cheers from her teammates. Watching her shoot, Lydia praised her, saying, "Way to go", while Se Young, impressed, asked her if it was her first time. Cara confirmed with a simple "yes".

"That's amazing," said Se Young.

Million Dollar Secret star Jaimi also complimented Cara by saying, "Get it, girl!" while Se Young exclaimed that it was "incredible." After her success, Cara confided on camera:

"I'm trying to be excited, but it's hard. And it just, like, is so crazy because I know it was my brother watching down on me. I didn't share with anyone just because letting a secret out about our personal lives can get you in trouble. But I'm really proud of myself for getting through it, and...Yeah."

The challenge ended with Jaimi's successful second shot, where he hit the target. The host congratulated Chris, Kyle, Jaimi, Sydnee, Lauren, and Sam for winning. They were given access to the trophy room, where they would learn more about the millionaire.
