"I got cocky" - The Traitors UK star Minah reflects on her banishment 

The Traitors UK Season 3 Episode 10 aired on BBC One on January 22, 2025, and saw a banishment that caused an uproar on the internet. One of the fan favorites had to leave and this left the viewers disappointed.

Minah Shannon appeared in season 3 of The Traitors and was on the other side since the beginning. Previously, we had seen her recruit Charlotte as her new mate, who turned out to be the cause of her banishment.

In episode 10, Minah already had a feeling that she would be the next target.

Rightfully so, she received three votes, while Freddie had two, and Alexander brought up the rear with one. Ultimately, it was Charlotte's vote that would decide.

In a confessional, Charlotte said she had no issues throwing Minah under the bus. Charlotte made the final vote against Minah which caused her banishment.

Talking about her exit from season 3, Minah on The Traitors: Uncloaked, a spinoff of the original, said:

"I think as I got on, I got cocky, or complacent, I think that's the word."

Talking about her strategies, Minah revealed:

"I made a conscious effort to make relationships within different groups from day one. I think in my head I was like surely someone will tell me, surely, but that's the confidence, the power got to me."

Minah also revealed that she would have been helpless as a Faithful because she had only planned her gameplay as a Traitor:

"Yeah, I actually only had a game plan as a Traitor, so god help me if I wasn't picked. My game plan going in was to be myself. I just knew the way I am with people, I make connections with people so easily without trying, that's just how I am. And I just thought what a perfect game plan, just be yourself, I don't have to pretend I'm Welsh or a Priest or a Nail Tech."

Minah thought being friendly to everyone and making connections would help her win. Her strategy was to hide behind a pleasant facade so no one could guess she was a Traitor. The host asked her how she dealt with being so "verbal" with everyone as a Traitor, and to this, she responded:

"Well, I didn't win did I."

The Banishment came as a shocking blow to Minah, who was eliminated by Charlotte, whom she had recruited herself. She revealed herself as a Traitor to the other players before exiting.

In the latest episode, we saw the players complete a task where the Traitors had been asked questions previously, and the Faithfuls' task was to predict the answers. Each correct answer would increase their fund by £2,000.

At the end of the game, the Faithfuls were able to guess three questions correctly, adding £6,000 to their winning fund. Later, Leanne was also able to win immunity from being murdered.
