Love is Blind UK's debut season released its second episode on Netflix on August 7, 2024. The dating show is a social experiment with interested participants to find their future partner through several blind dates.
The first episode of Love is Blind UK mainly introduced individuals and their first blind dates with different participants. The next episode focused on potentially growing connections among the Love is Blind UK participants.
One of these potential connections was Nicole, who found two people, including Benaiah and Sam, as her connections. However, she was confused about whom to choose to explore that connection further.
Sharing her situation, Nicole confessed in Love is Blind UK episode 2:
"Honestly, I feel torn a little bit because the connection between Sam, the connection between Benaiah and I are just very different." Nicole shared.
Why was Nicole “torn” between Benaiah and Sam on Love is Blind UK episode 2?
Before her date with Benaiah, Nicole, 29, confessed that she was “torn” between Sam and Benaiah. While she described Sam as fun and how he makes her feel giddy, she felt that they were only "hanging out."
On the other hand, she described Benaiah as someone she had a "very deep understanding" of.
Later in Love is Blind UK episode 2, Nicole has another blind date with Benaiah, during which she asks him what his "typical day" with his wife would look like.
Benaiah answered that they would probably enjoy the outdoors in the morning, a little rock climbing, brunch, and coffee somewhere, and a hike in the afternoon. Nicole replied that she loved that.
"Meeting with friends, having a laugh. Laughing is quite an important thing to me, and I’m a very positive, upbeat person." Benaiah added.
Nicole found her interaction cute and pictured Benaiah as a "happy guy."
After their date, Benaiah confessed that Nicole had filled his heart with happiness and positivity. He also told Nicole he was glad to talk to her that day.
Later that day, in Love is Blind UK, when the women spoke to each other in the female quarters, Nicole shared that she was building connections and that participants were "surprising," referring to her potential connections on the show.
Nicole confessed that she felt she had two connections: Sam and Benaiah. She wanted to know whether Benaiah was serious about marriage because he was the one with whom she felt "romantically connected."
During her second date with Benaiah, Nicole asked him about how he was exploring his connections. She wanted to know whether Benaiah could see himself proposing to anyone or if he was not yet ready for that.
Benaiah replied that, connection-wise, he had thought of a future together. However, he added that it was difficult for him to "kind of give these assurances" of 'Oh, yeah, we have a connection.' He told Nicole that he was not at that stage yet.
Hearing Benaiah’s answer, Nicold replied that his answer was not ideal. She also revealed that Benaiah was one of her "stronger" connections and that she didn't like his answer about the situation.
