Shark Tank investor Barbara Corcoran had taken a marvelous leap from a 2-bedroom home to her luxurious NYC penthouse. This all has been a learning experience for the shark, along with the power of manifestation. Coming from a family of nine siblings and a lot of baggage to prove her intelligence to the world, Corcoran has come a long way to become a real estate mogul.

She told the New York Times about her emotional connection to buying homes, sharing her journey to success, and finally having her dream penthouse. In the 1990s, she kept an eye on her now NYC penthouse while delivering a package there. One time, while providing a package to the customer, he peeped through the door, and looking at the view, she knew she wanted it.

Humbly, the Shark Tank investor Barbara Corcoran asked the lady to give her a ring if she ever thinks of selling the house. The lady would have been in awe at that point, but 20 years later, the lady did give her a ring. For Corcoran, buying a house is not just transactional; it involves a deep-rooted connection and sharing them, she remarked during an interview with the New York Times:

"That’s how I buy all of my homes. I have an emotional love affair with them. It’s romanticism. I walk in and I go, I belong here."

Here is how the Shark Tank investor Barbara Corcoran turned her dreams into a reality

Barbara Corcoran did not have it easy, and if the fans are wondering if achieving all of the fame and skills she has now was a jumping step, it wasn't. It took her a lot of patience, hard work, heartbreak, and grit to reach where she is now.

Shark Tank investor Barbara, who will turn 76 this March, is enormously zealous and hardworking. She is determined to make her dreams come true, whether it is building a successful real estate firm or buying her dream NYC penthouse, which seemed far from reality a few decades ago. For a very long time, Barbara switched from one job to another to find her calling.

At the age of 23, she had switched some twenty jobs, but who would have thought that a $1000 loan from her ex-boyfriend would set the stage for her real estate firm, Corcoran Group? Although she witnessed heartbreak in her relationship, the loan proved to be a successful idea for the Shark Tank judge.

She focused on diversifying her investments while still working for multiple paychecks, and that is how, while delivering packages as a messenger, she reached her dream NYC penthouse.
