The Voice season 26 concluded on NBC on December 10, 2024, with Sofronio Vasquez, coached by Michael Bublé, as the winner. The finale was truly a treat, with many stars and guests present.
Although, it also reminded us of the fact that it is the end of the competition season, meaning we probably won't see our favorite coaches for a while now. Also, three judges, Reba McEntire, Gwen Stefani, and Snoop Dogg, will not be returning for The Voice 2025.
Fans are curious if there is any possibility that Snoop Dogg will return as a coach next season. He has made a mark for himself among the viewers during the show.
Before the season could end, Carson Daly asked Coach Snoop if he had thought about maybe returning for another season to the Big Red Chairs. To which Snoop replied,
"It’s been a great experience for me. I didn’t know what I was signing on to, but I do know it feels like I could come back and do it again."
Is Snoop Dogg coming back on The Voice?
Although he won't be in the next season, this statement feels like a potential confirmation from Snoop Dogg himself about his future on the show. This statement already had fans ecstatic.
Carson then continued to thank the rapper for bringing "authenticity and brotherhood" to The Voice. Even though his contract at The Voice was for only one season, fans are hoping that it gets renewed.
During his run as a coach, we saw Snoop Dogg mentor Jeremy Beloate to the top five. He also had an active part in helping Christina Eagle reach the semi-final round during the show.
Even though season 27 might not have Snoop, we have seen how he appeared in season 20 as a mentor. Now that he has also added "Coach" to his resume, we can hopefully expect to see him in some other designation in the upcoming installments.
He talked about how he loved doing the season with Reba, Gwen, and Michael, along with the artists that mentored and had fun with. While the blind auditions were going on, Snoop was very kind to performers.
He encouraged them to keep refining themselves and try for The Voice once again, and then he could hit his button for her. This shows how supportive he was of all the candidates in the series.
The Voice Season 26 Winner
Sofronio Vasques was crowned the champion of season 26. He was coached by Michael Bublé. We saw them talking right before his performance about his ethnicity and what it represents on the show. Michael said,
"My Filipino brother, you are the hope of so many people, and not just in the Philippines, but Asians everywhere, truly, are looking at you tonight and [are] so proud, and you represent them so well. It has been such an unbelievable journey to be here with you."
After Sofronio's performance, Carson Daly announced him as a winner, which made Coach Michael Bublé the fourth-time rookie coach to win his first season. He even had the runner-up on his first season, which was a new achievement on the show.
