"I was a collateral damage" — W.A.G.s to Riches star Stoni recalls her leaked tape release

W.A.G.s to Riches Season 1 premiered on Netflix on January 22, 2025. The reality show features a female cast with their respective partners.

In the debut episode, cast member Lastonia Leviston, popularly known as Stoni, spoke of an infamous "leaked tape" incident she was involved in. While on a lunch date with her friend Alexis Welch Stoudemire, the two had a conversation about the same.

Sharing about the incident, Stoni got emotional. She told Alexis:

"I was collateral damage in a beef I had nothing to do with. And for my ex, I was... In that second my whole life changed. The minute the tape was released, nothing was the same. I became s*icidal. I didn't wanna live anymore. I felt like I was damaged goods. Like no man would ever love me again. I felt like I had let my kids down tremendously."

W.A.G.s to Riches Season 1 Episode 1 featured a conversation between Stoni and Alexis, as they met and had a one-on-one conversation. While discussing various things and incidents, Stoni mentioned what happened between her and her ex that resulted in the "leaked tape" incident.

While having lunch, Stoni initiated the conversation and mentioned she had been dating "a guy" long ago. She mentioned how he "didn't really" ask her, and she didn't "really feel unsafe" back then. W.A.G.s to Riches star Stoni revealed:

"I did the tape. Things got rocky. He started cheating, so I outed him to the other girl. He got upset about it. We break up. In the height of the breakup, the beef started with Rick and 50 Cent."

She added:

"Long story short, my ex, the guy that was in the s*x tape, he's bitter. So he actually goes and sells the tape to 50 Cent. And then 50 Cent released it on Thisis50. Well, it's pretty, and it still haunts me to this day."

While recalling the incident and all that has followed, the W.A.G.s to Riches star got emotional. Alexis then asked her if the "tape" might be the reason why some of the female participants in the "group" might see Stoni "differently."

Seeing her driven tears, Alexis told Stoni that she could see how the incident was "still painful" for her. Stoni expressed how she "masks" things "so well" because she has to.

When Alexis mentioned that situation, it was as if Stoni was in the middle of a "tug of war." She agreed and said that she was "collateral damage." Alexis tried to console her, as she was still quite emotional and had tears in her eyes.
