Amazon Prime Video dropped Beast Games Episode 7 on January 23, 2025. The episode featured an emotionally challenging task for the players, with a cliffhanger ending. The stakes were high, and a player could win only through the right strategy. Which is what Deano did.
Host Jimmy Donaldson, or MrBeast, introduced the episode's challenges as The Trolley Problems. A captain was chosen from the group by voting, to carry out the formalities of the episode's game. By the last round of the episode, Twana was chosen as captain. She was asked to select two players to take their position on the opposing tracks, and be eliminated. Twana picked Deano and Queen. Jimmy gave the game a twist: The players on the tracks would have to select a "buddy," who would potentially get eliminated with them.
The episode, titled The Elimination Train, saw Deano smartly picking Jazmine to be with him, which came as shock for Twana. Viewers know Twana and Jazmine are close to each other, so it would be difficult for the captain to eliminate the latter.
When asked why Deano picked her, Jazmine explained to Twana:
"Because he thought I was close to you."
Beast Games Episode 7: Deano's strategy to save himself
While Deano was aware he could be eliminated from Beast Games in the episode, Queen and Twana were always competitors, though they respect each other. Between Deano and Queen, Twana may have hoped to save the latter. But the twist, which brought Jazmine in the picture, changed everything for her.
Queen chose JC to be by her side. JC is also one of the most respectable players in the group, and Twana's friend. This made it an even rougher choice for Twana. Deano, explaining why he chose Jazmine to be with him on the tracks, said:
"Yeah, I thought we were both close with you. I had no idea, you know, there was no love. I thought we're good."
However, fans noted that this was Deano's strategy to at least have another shot at survival in Beast Games, thinking the strategy might save him and take him to the finals. As for JC, he explained his side of the story before the challenge, saying:
"You know I'm not here to convince you, because you have to follow your gut at the end of the day. I'm not in this for material things. I'm 50 years old. I have a three-year-old and a six-year-old, you know that. I want time. Money's not gonna buy me time. But I'm tired of trading my time, for money. And that will afford me the opportunity to build more time with them."
As the four players walked over to the chopping block, Twana shared her thoughts about the challenge on Beast Games. She expressed how she had thought that everything would be easy if she were the captain. However, things took a turn for the worst.
Talking about Jazmine, Twana said:
"She doesn't deserve this."
Jimmy took over and explained how the round would finally put 10 contestants into the finals, who would compete for the prize of $5 million.
However, it was tough to say at this stage who would enter the finals, with four of them on the tracks and considering only two would be saved.
The result of this challenge will be shown to fans next week on Beast Games, in Episode 8.
