Netflix's latest competition series, Battle Camp, has brought together reality TV stars from different shows and has created unexpected connections, revealing new sides of familiar faces. Chase DeMoor and Georgia Hassarati, who previously appeared on "Too Hot To Handle" and "Perfect Match," are among them. In a surprising turn of events, Chase, who has often been portrayed as a villain in his reality TV journey, expressed genuine affection for his teammate Georgia during a recent interview with Screen Rant.

Showing a softer side that viewers rarely get to see, Chase revealed:

"You know, Battle Camp, one of the things was being un-hateable. I think it was a different mold for me because I'm the villain, I'm the bad guy. And obviously, like, Georgia and I have a track record, so it could have been super easy to go in there and just have like this rivalry with Georgia, the rest of the cast."

He explained further:

"But you know, honestly, I adore her. I adore everybody on the show, so, you know, it was really easy to just get along with everybody"

Chase DeMoor and Georgia Hassarati discuss coming on Battle Camp

Battle Camp marks a significant departure from the duo's previous Netflix experiences. Instead of the luxurious setting of a dating show, contestants face grueling outdoor challenges that test both physical and mental strength.

Georgia candidly admitted her initial apprehension about the show:

"I was kind of like delusional about the whole thing. I was like, you know what, maybe this is my time to prove myself."

She added humorously that, unlike her previous appearances where contestants lounge "in bikinis, dating, looking cute," this competition offered no such comfort.

Chase echoed these sentiments, describing the stark contrast to his usual reality TV environment, joking that there wasn't "a whole lot to look at" except for Georgia, whom he referred to as "eye candy".

The pair's history initially created uncertainty when they found themselves on the same team. Georgia confessed:

"I was scared of him coming in. I saw him standing on the platform and I'm like, he's going to ruin my life."

Chase playfully responded:

"I'd say the same thing the first time I saw Georgia,"

Before adding:

"I'm still convinced she's going to ruin my life, but I'm OK with it now."

This banter reveals how their relationship has evolved throughout the competition. Chase, who described himself as "a competitor by nature" and who has "always been strategic," found himself approaching the show differently than in his previous appearances.

A different side of Chase

Battle Camp is a welcome contrast for viewers used to Chase's reality TV character. He accepted teamwork and developed sincere relationships with his co-stars instead of focusing on rivalry or disputes.

Suggesting that the competition's unique format allowed contestants to showcase more authentic sides of themselves, Chase admitted:

"It was the first time on a show that I was like that"

Georgia also noted her own personal growth, saying:

"I feel like I proved a lot for myself, I'm proud of myself,"

highlighting how the challenging environment pushed contestants beyond their comfort zones.

The unexpected friendship between these two reality stars shows how rivalry may occasionally generate genuine connections rather than foes, as Battle Camp continues to captivate Netflix audiences.
