The Fall of Diddy is a four-part new docuseries on Max that began streaming on January 27, 2025, and ended on January 28, 2025. It explores the hip-hop artist’s life and how he got away with his crimes. Each of the four episodes of the series is 42 minutes long.
In these four episodes of The Fall of Diddy, the makers have spoken to all the people who have been involved with Sean Combs in any capacity. Interviewed in the docuseries are his victims, and the people who worked with him who were also probably mistreated. The synopsis for the docuseries reads like this:
"Pull back the curtain on music mogul Sean Combs as allegations of long-hidden violence and abuse emerge to shock the world."
How to watch The Fall of Diddy?
The Fall of Diddy aired on Investigation Discovery, and it is accessible on Max. Apart from Max, the docuseries is also streaming on Philo, DirecTV Stream, and Fubo. The four-episode docuseries began with two episodes on January 27, 2025, and concluded with the release of the last two episodes on January 28, 2025.
Rolling Stone partnered with the makers behind Quiet on Set: The Dark Side of Kids TV for this docuseries. In The Fall of Diddy, the makers investigate the allegations by interviewing more than 30 people, including Combs’s former staff, accusers, acquaintances, and others in his orbit.
For instance, one of the interviewees in the docuseries is Phillip Pines, who supposedly worked for Combs between 2019 and 2021.
Who are the people interviewed in The Fall of Diddy?
Pines filed a lawsuit against the rapper in December 2024 that accused Diddy of s*x trafficking, s*xual battery, and s*xual harassment. In the docuseries, Pines claimed to the interviewer one of the duties of his job was to facilitate the alleged sexual encounters for the rapper. He also alleged a disturbing incident at one of the rapper's parties in which Pines was forced to drink.
After that, the rapper approached Pines and uttered these words:
"I remember hearing the words, 'Prove your loyalty to me.'"
After saying that to Pines, Sean Combs grabbed his former assistant by the latter's shoulders and forced his employee towards a woman who was a guest after handing protection. Pines said that followed Diddy's instructions because he was afraid. Pines revealed that he had seen Combs assaulting people under him for defying him. Pines was quoted saying this:
"I saw how angry he could get over the simplest thing. I thought to myself, if I don't do this, I don't know what's going to happen."
Another victim interviewed in The Fall of Diddy is model Kat Pasion, Sean Comb's ex-girlfriend, who dated him between 2018 and 2020. She alleged that the hip-hop mogul SA'd her in 2021 under the recreational drug tusi's influence. She said:
"He’s in the bathroom for hours and I’m sleeping, and he comes out … and wakes me up. He’s telling me I can’t go to sleep, he’s expecting X, Y and Z from me, and he forces himself [on me].”
Pasion made it clear that the incident was too traumatic and therefore she refused to go into detail. But she did give this quote:
“it wasn’t consensual. The person who came out of that bathroom and woke me up was someone that I didn’t even recognize. ... His whole tone, everything changed.”
Two weeks after the incident, she claimed that Diddy called to threaten her with deportation and ruin her career. Passion said this regarding this incident:
“This man is sick,” Pasion said. “He uses his resources and uses what he can do for you and thinks that that can Band-Aid and solve the horrible things he does to people because he thinks he’s God. … He’s so far gone.”
Apart from these two, countless other people have been victimized by Diddy for decades.
How did Sean Comb's representatives react to these accusations?
Sean Comb's representatives have spoken out against the accusations made against the rapper in The Fall of Diddy. The representatives put out this statement on behalf of the hip-hop mogul, who is waiting for his federal s*x trafficking and racketeering charges trail scheduled for May:
“These documentaries are rushing to cash in on the media circus surrounding Mr. Combs. The producers failed to provide sufficient time or details for his representatives to address unsubstantiated claims, many from unidentified participants whose allegations lack context. By withholding this information, they made it impossible for Mr. Combs to present facts to counter these fabricated accusations. This production is clearly intended to present a one-sided and prejudicial narrative. As we’ve said before, Mr. Combs cannot respond to every publicity stunt or facially ridiculous claim. He has full confidence in the facts and the judicial process, where the truth will prevail: the accusations against him are pure fiction.”
The entirety of The Fall of Diddy is now available to stream on Max, DirecTV Stream, Philo, and Fubo. Please note that this docuseries interviews people who have been victimized by Combs for decades. Watch it only if you have the heart to.
