SAS Rogue Heroes, based on Ben Macintyre's 2016 book of the same name is back with its Season 2, which was released in the UK on January 1st, 2025.

The story follows the formation of the Secret Air Service (SAS) team after David Sterling gets an idea after a failed training session. He and Paddy Mayne gather a team of misfits to form an elite commando that would operate deep enemy lines during World War II.

They start their mission in the African desert, where they become close as a team and sacrifice themselves for their mission and one another. Season 1 ends with Sterling being captured, leaving Paddy Mayne in charge of the team, who will lead them in Season 2 in Europe.

SAS Rogue Heroes Season 2 debuted on BBC One in the United Kingdom on January 1, 2025. All six episodes were released in the UK at once. But US fans will not have to wait much, as mirroring Season 1, Season 2 will also be available on MGM+ on January 12, 2025, at 9 pm ET/PT.

MGM+'s subscription starts at $6.99 a month and is $58.99 a year. It can also be purchased as an Amazon Prime add-on. It also offers a free 7-day trial.

Season 1 was made available on Prime Video in Canada sometime after its release in the UK. While there is no release date yet, it is expected that Season 2 will also be available on Amazon Prime Video in Canada after some time.

What can you expect from SAS Rogue Heroes Season 2?

As evident from the trailer, Season 2 will take the SAS team to a new location. Lieutenant Colonel Bill Sterling notifies the team that their mission will be bloodier and more dangerous than the one in Africa.

After starting in Cairo, the SAS team moves to mainland Europe for their next mission under the leadership of Paddy Mayne, whose unconventional strategies and tactics are seen with suspicion within the team.

The change in scenery and location will add another layer of change in SAS Rogue Heroes Season 2, and we will learn about all the bonds created within the team since Season 1.
