The Halloween Special is labeled as the first episode of season 23, which is slated to premiere on Fox in 2025. As audiences wait for the upcoming season, Hulu has planned the release of two Holiday specials. The first is the Halloween episode, which dropped on October 14, and the second is the Christmas Special, which will be released in December this year.

The logline for Family Guy Season 23 states,

“Peter accidentally exposes his inability to throw a ball, Meg starts dating the giant chicken’s son and Chris loses his earring in a Lord of the Rings-inspired escapade. Additionally, Stewie finds out his stuffed bear Rupert was made in China and makes it his mission to take him back there to meet his family.”

Family Guy is known for parodying famous television shows, and its 23rd installment will be no different. This time, the makers have decided to spoof HBO’s hit comedy-drama The White Lotus, as the Griffin family will vacation at a luxury resort. However, the trip will turn into a nightmare for Stewie as he begins to suspect that his friends want to sacrifice him in a volcano.

Created by Seth MacFarlane, the show has been going on since 1999, and is one of the most-watched animated shows on television. The series stars MacFarlane as Peter, Stewie, and Brian Griffin; Alex Borstein as Lois Griffin; Mila Kunis as Meg Griffin; Seth Green as Chris Griffin; Patrick Warburton as Joe Swanson; and Arif Zahir and Cleveland Brown.
