Daredevil: Born Again, MCU's 13th Television series, will revive the popular character from the comics, Daredevil.

Daredevil originally premiered on Netflix in 2015 but was canceled after three seasons in 2018. The new series is a revival of the original and will be available to stream on Disney+ starting March 4, 2025.

Charlie Cox starred as Matt Murdock/Daredevil in the original series, and he will reprise his character, a blind lawyer by day and a masked vigilante by night.

The series has also been confirmed for Season 2, which will release in 2026.

Daredevil: Born Again will be available exclusively on Disney+. The show will have a double premiere on March 4, 2025, at 9 p.m. ET/6 p.m. PT. Since it is an exclusive Disney+ series, no other streaming options are available.

Disney+'s basic ad-supported plan starts at $9.99 monthly, while you can go ad-free at $15.99 monthly. The streaming service can also be bundled up with other networks like ESPN, Hulu, and Max.

While Disney+ Hulu starts at $10.99 per month, Disney+ Hulu and ESPN+ start at $16.99 per month. You can also avail Disney+ Hulu and Max at $16.99 per month.

After the double premiere, the series will release weekly episodes every Tuesday.

What to expect from Daredevil: Born Again?

After the conclusion of the original series on Netflix in 2018, this is the first time that Cox and other star cast are reprising their respective characters. While the reboot was initially conceived as a separate series, eventually, Dario Scardapane was brought in as a showrunner to make it more cohesive with the Netflix series.

Talking to Variety, Scardapane discussed how the new series will continue Murdock's story but will also be a fresh take on it:

“We’re pulling [these characters] seven, eight years forward. It’s as much a different universe as it is when you grow up seven years, when we all go into the future. So it’s got all the DNA, all the history of the old show, but it’s taking us on a different ride.”

In an interview with Screen Rant, Cox discussed his character's motivation and the path he will choose in the new series:

''I think Matt recognizes towards the beginning of our show is his obsession with Wilson Fisk, his desire to rid the planet of him, and his conviction that he's the source of all evil, has probably caused more damage to the city that he loves. They both need to get on with their lives a little bit, and there needs to be some sort of truth. So part of the journey in this season is to see Matt try to take a different path...''
