One of the best video game adaptations on Netflix, Arcane, is back with its second chapter in November 2024. Season 2 is scheduled in three acts, with the first already on the streamer. It will be followed by Act II (November 16, 2024) and Act III (November 23, 2024), with three episodes each.

Since the release of Arcane Season 2, many fans and viewers have been speculating on the connection between Vander and Warwick. Popular theories suggest that Vander, a key character from Season 1, is Warwick, also known as the Uncaged Wrath of Zaun in the video game.

However, before we delve into their connection and stories of Warwick and Vander, here's a quick overview of what the animated series is about. Netflix released Arcane Season 1 in 2021, which follows the iconic online battle arena game League of Legends by Riot Games.

The series focuses on twin cities Piltover and Zaun, representing two distinct sides of society. While Piltover is a prosperous and highly advanced city, Zaun is known for its poverty and oppressed area.

The plot unfolds with tensions between the titular cities and also focuses on the two sisters, Violet and Powder, who later transform into Vi and Jinx. As seen in Season 1, Vader is the adopted father of the two girls whom fans are connecting to Warwick. Please read below to explore their connection.

In Arcane Season 1, Vander was introduced in the first episode when a brutal conflict occurred between Piltover and Zaun. Vander saw Powder and Violet scared and grieving over their mother's death and took the little girls with him.

Not only did Vander play a big role in the narrative, but also served as the father figure to Powder and Violet. Throughout the first season, Vander ensured his daughters were safe, but Violet and Powder's relationship got even more complicated when his final moments came in the animated show.

Vander met his end in Arcane Season 1, episode 3, during a violent confrontation between the people of Zaun and Silco's enforcers. This happened after Violet and Powder participated in an attack on Silco.

During the violence, Vander ended up being fatally injured after Silco stabbed him with a knife and ultimately died. His death is one of the traumatic experiences in Violet and Powder's lives, as the two couldn't save their adoptive father.

However, the ending of Arcane Season 2 Act I hints at the possibility of Vander being transformed into Warwick. Continue reading to know how.

The connection between Vander and Warwick has become a hot topic of discussion for Arcane fans, as they believe Vander will later be revealed to have transformed into Warwick, a monster in the video game's narrative.

Arcane Season 2 Act I concluded with Episode 3, Finally Got the Name Right, and even had a post-credit scene involving Singed, a doctor from Zaun. The scenes feature a huge monster hanging in chains, injecting curiosity among viewers about the monster's identity.

The post-credit scene also sees Singed giving a blood transfusion to the beast-like structure and watching his experiment unfold. The monster's identity currently remains a mystery, but there's a possibility that he might be Vander.

As seen in the first season, Vander was injected with Shimmer, a powerful substance known for enhancing strength and healing. Additionally, Singed had Vander's body during the finale of Season 1, hinting that he might have begun experimenting on Vander. If this comes out to be true, Singed's experiment on bringing Vander to life will succeed, but in a monstrous form.

Another notable detail from the video game that many would find intriguing is that Singed is the one who created Warwick. In the popular game, Warwick is a wolf-like creature who feeds on criminals in the undercity.

Though the exact details of Warwick's past life remain a mystery, it's believed that he wanted to seek redemption and had a desire to improve. Interestingly, his backstory matches Vander's, as both navigated through a painful transformation.

If Vander turns out to be Warwick in Netflix's Arcane, it will lead to an emotional and intense moment between him and the two girls. Vi and Jinx, who loved Vander and considered him their father, might have to confront a monster.
