Lori Greiner, the Shark Tank investor, has been popular for being an investor on the show. She is a jewellery designer and a businesswoman who holds over 120 patents under her name.

Talking about her work in one of the videos on Instagram, Lori discussed how she was not a businesswoman from the get-go, instead, she was a creative person. Her niche was inventing things, and soon, her business took off with the earring organiser design that could hold up to 100 pairs of earrings at once.

She has created over 700 products, but this was the one that changed the trajectory of her life. It was at this time that JCPenney decided to take this idea and launch it before the holiday season.

She revealed that her career in the business industry started with this, and she did everything in her power to reach out to the world and sell it. The product was then featured in the New York Times Best Seller List and was a huge hit.

The Shark Tank investor then started selling her products on TV and was immensely successful. It was reported that her earring organizers sold out completely in under 2 minutes. She is currently dubbed the Queen of QVC.

Lori Greiner's net worth in 2025 is estimated to be $150 million, according to Celebrity Net Worth.

Shark Tank investor Lori Greiner and her journey to becoming a millionaire

The Shark Tank investor Lori's earring organiser idea was a huge hit on Home Shopping Network as well, where, by the end of the year, she was able to sell over a million dollars worth of products.

Originally, Lori had never imagined being in business at all. Her dream was to be a playwright after graduating with a degree in communications from Loyola University in Chicago. She had started a job as a journalist at the Chicago Tribune, but this was the time when she started inventing products and selling costume jewellery.

After finding success as a seller, the money that Lori had made helped her in settling the loan of $300,000 that she had taken out. She started her brand called For Your Ease Only, which started pouring in multi-million dollars. Her products consist of jewellery organisers of all sorts and price ranges.

A major chunk of her income flows in from QVC. In the 2000s, she hosted a monthly show called Clever and Unique Creations by Lori Greiner, which helped her business.

Later in 2009, when Mark Burnett was starting Shark Tank, he had called upon Lori to be an investor on the series. Revealing more about this journey, she said in her Instagram video that she and Mark had a conversation face-to-face about the new program that he is launching, and Lori agreed to try for it.

They had a test run, and she was able to qualify for it. However, there was a setback in her life due to which she was not able to move to California permanently to film the series.

But a few years later, in 2012, she was able to join, and Mark welcomed her with open arms. Her salary from Shark Tank is approximately $1.2 million per season, as she makes $50,000 per episode.

As for her business, For Your Ease Only, when combined with her Shark Tank earnings, she makes almost $5 million a year. She has invested in Scrub Daddy, reportedly the most successful product on Shark Tank, which sold out huge numbers of units when she promoted it on QVC.

Shark Tank season 16 episodes release weekly on ABC at 8 PM Eastern Time on Fridays. They are later available to watch on Hulu.
