The popular psychological thriller series Yellowjackets is returning with season 3 on Paramount+ Showtime, following the survivors dealing with the aftermath of Natalie Scatorrccio's death. While in the past timeline, the teenagers will continue to face challenges in the wilderness.
Yellowjackets Season 1 came out in 2021 and introduced viewers to a high school girls' soccer team from 1996. The teenage girls' lives take a U-turn when their plane crashes in the wilderness while traveling to Seattle for a national tournament.
As they end up in a harsh situation, the girls try hard to survive. Interestingly, the show blends two timelines: The 1996 timeline and the present which follows the survivors of the crash as adults.
Among the key characters in Yellowjackets is Shauna, who has a sharp-tongued and moody teenage daughter named Callie Sadecki. She was revealed to be 16 years old in season 1 and is assumed to be the same or has recently turned 17.
Played by Sarah Desjardins, Callie is the daughter of Shauna and Jeff Sadecki. At first, she seemed to be a typical rebellious teenager who often misbehaved with her parents, especially Shauna. However, as the story unfolds, Callie becomes a key character who finds the shocking truth about her mother.

Callie is still a teenager in Yellowjackets: Charcater's journey explored
As previously mentioned, Callie is a teenager in Yellowjackets who's unsympathetic and distant from her family. Since the character was introduced, Callie has often clashed with Shauna and even believed her father Jeff was dishonest.
As Yellowjackets progresses, Callie finds out more about her mother, especially her affair with Adam Martin. To learn everything about Shauna and Adam's relationship, Callie decides to dig deep into her mother's past.
She also learns about Shauna's traumatic experience in the wilderness, and instead of being emphatic to her mother, Callie continues expressing her anger and judgment. She starts suspecting Shauna and Jeff's involvement in Adam's disappearance and finally gets her answers in season 2.

How did Callie find out about Adam Martin's death in Yellowjackets?
A major shift in Callie's character occurs in Yellowjackets Season 2 Episode 4 Old Wounds, when Shauna finds out that her daughter has been lying about her stay at Alana's place. When Shauna confronts Callie about her lies, the teenager also questions back about her mother's lies.
Shauna finally decides to be honest with Callie and confesses to killing Adam Martin. She explained that Adam blackmailed her and could have exposed her secrets. As a result of her trauma and fear, Shauna ended up stabbing Adam.
The twist? It was Jeff who was blackmailing Shauna and not Adam Martin. After learning the truth, many would have expected Callie to hate her parents even more for killing an innocent man.
However, her behavior changed as Callie promised not to expose the secret and later joined her parents to prepare dinner. She also confessed her lies and decided not to repeat the mistakes.
She began protecting Shauna and actively participated in covering up the crime when questioned by the police. As Callie's resourceful side emerges, she's no longer seen as a stubborn teenager, but someone who can be impressively clever when needed.
