Love Is Blind: Argentina debuts its season 1 with 32 single men and women looking to find their future partners behind closed doors. This is the third Latin American country to be included under the franchise after Mexico and Brazil. The show will be hosted by Wanda Nara, who is a popular Argentine model, TV host, and football agent along with Dario Barassi, known for his career as a TV host, actor, and comedian.
The Argentine version follows the same format except that the hosts are not real-life couples as commonly seen in other versions. So far, Love Is Blind: Argentina has released four episodes, and viewers got their list of engaged couples from Argentina who will be holidaying in Mexico in the coming episode, to learn more about physical, emotional, and intellectual compatibility.
In the pods, 5 couples exchanged rings, proposing to each other for marriage. However, as episode 3 revealed, Brenda and Matias met in person but did not exchange the ring because Matias decided to skip Mexico and know each other in the outside world. Brenda believed him and decided to continue their journey off-camera.
Let us dive into the couples who got engaged in Love Is Blind: Argentina, and decided to carry forward their relationship.
Love Is Blind: Argentina: Five couples decide to advance to the next phase of the experiment
After Brenda and Matias skipped the engagement in episode 3 after their reveal and opted to explore each other in the outside world, only five couples remained engaged in Love Is Blind: Argentina. The couples who managed to continue their journey to the next step were:
1) Roberto and Eva
Roberto and Eva got engaged during episode 3 of the show, after a rollercoaster experience in the pods. Roberto felt torn between Agustina and Eva initially but decided to put his anxiety to rest and chose Eva. Eva initially questioned Roberto's effort but their first meeting in person assured her of the future.
2) Ezequiel and Julieta
The couple started with a business partnership plan jokingly which led to their eventual engagement. Ezequiel's first impression did not make Julieta feel safe about him, however, as the couple explored more about each other, their vulnerabilities started pouring out.
Ezequiel told Julieta helped him to open up his soul. However, Julieta found it hard to connect his face with his voice after the first meeting but was hopeful to explore more during their vacation in Mexico.
3) Tom and Florfi
The couple sparked a chemistry since their first date in the pods and bonded over their "calm" and reserved nature. Both Tom and Florfi felt their vibes and energy were complementary, pushing them closer to each other.
However, Tom had the decision to make as he had Florencia as his connection too. But later on, he decided to call it off with Florencia and get engaged to Florfi to witness the future ahead.
4) Santiago and Emily
Santiago and Emily shared a serendipitous first meeting as Santiago revealed that he had a dream about a girl named "Emi." Upon this revelation, Emily was in instant awe and felt a connection with Santiago. Santiago also shared a connection with Agustine but decided to pursue Emily as he felt a deeper affection towards her.
5) Mauricio and María Emilia
Mauricio and Maria were skeptical of their age as they joined the pods, however, after meeting each other in the pods they were sure that love surpasses age. The couple opened up about their kids and family and admired the emotional connection they shared.
After diving deep into topics like monogamy, finances, and the future, the couple decided to take the next step and got engaged in episode 2 of Love Is Blind: Argentina.
Love Is Blind: Argentina released episodes 1 to 4 on November 6, 2024, on Netflix.
