The Real Housewives of New York City star Erin Lichy got herself involved in an uncalled conversation when she defended Scott Disick, who got into the limelight, especially after his appearance on Keeping Up with the Kardashians. Scott Disick was in a relationship with Kourtney Kardashian back then in 2011, but they fell apart as Scott and Kristin Cavallari's alleged involvement news sparked up.
Recently, during her podcast, Let's Be Honest, Cavallari opened up about the rumored fling news and said that it was all planted calling it a "manipulation". She slammed Scott Disick and also mentioned that he messaged her, reading his text on the podcast.
However, The Real Housewives of New York City star backed up Scott Disick, opening up about her connection with him, which goes a long way to their time in the Hamptons. An Instagram video surfaced which was posted on BravoBravoBravoBri, where Erin took Disick's side, and mentioned that as far as she was aware, Scott Disick is "a good guy". She said in the video:
"I’m feeling like I need to weigh in a little bit. Like it’s bothering me. I actually grew up pretty good friends with Scott. We were in the same group. Especially in the Hamptons."
The Real Housewives of New York City star Erin Lichy does not agree with Kristin Cavallari calling Scott Disick "manipulative"
The Real Housewives of New York City star Erin Lichy came to Scott Disick's defense when Kristin Cavallari called out Disick for being "manipulative" in her podcast episode, named Cavallari is a Freakin Trainwreck!
Kristine Cavallari explained the whole story and threw light on the old rumor that suggested that she and Disick were dating when he broke up with Kourtney Kardashian. The news surfaced when a tabloid ran an article in 2011 suggesting that Cavallari and Disick were involved in a relationship.
This led to Kristin and Kourtney's falling out, and Kristin also believed that Disick planted the store "to get back to Kourtney".
The podcast struck a note with The Real Housewives of New York City's Erin Lichy, who mentioned that he knew Scott Disick and Kristin calling him a manipulator could not possibly be true, citing:
"He’s a great guy. Like he’s not a bad person. Based on what [Kristen] was reading, I’m so confused how that’s manipulative. Like it sounds like a nice person reaching out.”
The Real Housewives of New York City's Erin Lichy felt that it was rather a nice gesture to text Kristine and clear things out as he meant well and "wanted to be friendly again". She also mentioned that Scott Disick lost both of his parents in his 30s which had a great impact on him, making his life challenging. She further defended his character and said:
"The guy went through a lot. He’s not a bad person."
On the other hand, Kristin denied any relationship with Scott Disick and said:
"I know for a fact [he did this] to piss off Kourtney. A lot of times when a girl sees that a guy has moved on, they’re like, ‘I want him back.’ … And it worked. They got back together."
Fans can watch Erin Lichy on The Real Housewives of New York City which airs new episodes on Bravo at 9/8c on Tuesdays.
