Shark Tank investor Jamie Kern Lima shared an Instagram reel featuring herself and Allison Holker on February 6, 2025. The video clip includes parts of Jamie's podcast discussion with a renowned dancer and choreographer. Some fans might also know Allison's late husband, Stephen 'tWitch' Boss.
During their in-depth discussion, Shark Tank's mentor asked Allison various questions, including how Stephen took his life, how life has been since his demise, Stephen's "ayahuasca journey," negative emotions, and more.
Before introducing Allison Holker, Jamie Kern Lima shared with the viewers:
"Are you hiding behind happy? Do you feel like you always have to lift everyone else up or people please or should only be seen when you're happy? If this is you, you're not alone. Studies show 40% of us frequently suppress our negative emotions all to put on a happy face for everyone else, but doing that, experts say, can take a severe toll on mental and physical health and well-being without us even realizing it."

Jamie Kern Lima shared an Instagram clip from her The Jamie Kern Lima Podcast episode with Allison Holker. It features how, since her husband, Stephen's demise, Allison hasn't opened up about the incidents that happened after his demise.
For the fans who might not know, Allison wrote a book - This Far: My Story of Love, Loss, and Embracing the Light. She opened up about some of the things she had revealed via book. As she shared things about the sensitive subject, Jamie mentioned:
"Today on this episode of The Jamie Kern Lima Show, Allison is sharing parts of her story she's never shared before, with the intention, she says, of inspiring and helping others who might also be struggling alone before it's too late. She's also sharing how she says, tWitch gave her permission and his blessing to share these parts of their story."
Further, Allison recalled when she was informed about Stephen's demise, she thought the cops had gotten the "wrong person."
When Shark Tank's mentor asked about Stephen's "Ayahuasca Journey," a plant medicine that Stephen underwent, Allison shared more about it.
"Yes. I think it was a very big turning point for him. I feel like his heart was never really in the same place after he came back. There was something missing in his eyes. And it just kind of feels like he opened something up to himself that he never healed, and never fully escaped."
However, despite everything that happened ever since, the female dancer mentioned she would "always celebrate" Stephen as a wonderful person. She also told the Shark Tank investor that her three children, Weslie, Zaia, and Maddox, have been "very hurt" by Steven's choice.
"I have to walk as a mother right now, is because they are very hurt by their father's decision. And they have a lot of triggers that they have to be in therapy now to really work through."
She added that she was "impressed" after seeing how her children have been "putting in" the time and how they were finding "joy" and "laughter" again. Later, she also opened up about how Stephen at home was extremely "introverted" while tWitch, to the people, was extremely extroverted.
