Netflix refreshes its library of content monthly, so some titles leave each month. March 2025 is not an exception because there are some favorite TV series lined up to leave. If it's a crime drama that will keep you hooked, a comedy that has you laughing out loud, or a cult series, some of the leaving shows may surprise you. If you have been looking to watch or revisit any of them, it's time before they disappear from Netflix's list.

Streaming rights and licensing deals determine which shows remain and which depart. Although some series will ultimately return or can be found through other platforms, this is never a promise.

Following are the exhaustive lists of TV series departing Netflix in March 2025.

Leaving March 1, 2025

44 Cats (Seasons 3-4)

This animated show is the story of four musical cats, Lampo, Milady, Pilou, and Meatball, who start a band and try to survive in their vibrant world. Ideal for children, 44 Cats is an entertaining series with catchy tunes and good lessons about friendship and collaboration.

Back to 1989 (Season 1)

A Taiwanese romantic time-travel drama, Back to 1989 is the story of a young man who suddenly finds himself in the year of his birth. While attempting to find out who his father is, he goes through love, family secrets, and emotional discoveries. A must-watch for those who enjoy sentimental storytelling and mystery.

Bo on the Go! (Season 1)

A Canadian animated program that aims to have children in motion, Bo on the Go! tracks the adventurous and inquisitive girl Bo as she has adventures involving physical activity to fix situations. A family-friendly choice for interactive programming.

Friendship Playlist (Season 1) – Netflix Original Removal

This original Netflix Korean drama presents a wholesome narrative of buddies learning to traverse life and love through sharing music. Its shift away from Netflix stands out, given the rarity of removals involving original content, offering it a final chance at being watched by fans of K-dramas.

My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic (Seasons 1-4)

One of the all-time best kids' programs of the past decade, My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic follows the exploits of Twilight Sparkle and friends in Ponyville as they learn the magic of friendship. With its rich storytelling, endearing humor, and uplifting messages, this program has gained a dedicated following beyond the children of fans.

The Mindy Project (Seasons 1-6)

A smart comedy by and featuring Mindy Kaling, The Mindy Project centers around a busy OB-GYN navigating her life as a career woman with her equally dismal love life. Full of jokes, popular culture nods, and well-rounded characters, it's a memorable sitcom that everyone will want to see again before it's gone.

SKY Castle (Season 1)

This intense South Korean drama plunges into the world of top-tier families struggling to ensure their kids' academic achievements. SKY Castle was a cultural phenomenon, addressing parental pressure, class war, and ambition. Its leaving Netflix means that fans of serious drama must rush to watch it.

Leaving March 8, 2025

Alone (2020)

This survival reality show sees contestants abandoned in isolated places with few supplies to survive on their own for as long as they can. Alone provides an unaltered, raw view of human resilience and, thus, is a must-see for survivalists.

Leaving March 10, 2025

Taarak Mehta Kka Chhota Chashmah (2021)

A spinoff of the hit Indian sitcom Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, the animated version introduces fresh young viewers to the exciting universe of the Gokuldham Society. With wit and cultural commentary, it's a family favorite that will be sorely missed.

Leaving March 13, 2025

Once Upon A Time In Lingjian Mountain (2019)

A combination of comedy, adventure, and fantasy, this Chinese drama combines martial arts with humor as a young disciple uses his wits to tackle the challenges of an exclusive sect. Xianxia (Chinese fantasy) drama lovers should not miss it before it vanishes.

Leaving March 27, 2025

Happy! (Seasons 1-2)

A darkly humorous, action-packed show, Happy! is a series about a former detective-turned-hitman who begins to see an imaginary blue-winged unicorn following a near-death experience. Quirky, violent, and somehow loving, the show is a wild ride with an unusual mix of crime and fantasy elements.

Leaving March 31, 2025

The Windsors (Seasons 1-3)

A laugh-out-loud British royal family satire, The Windsors takes true events and blows them out of proportion into ridiculous comic plots. This gaudy, irreverent, and witty humor rewriting of a royal soap opera has been such a hit show, so the news of its cancellation is a blow for comedy lovers.

Netflix's roster is in a state of flux, but it can be frustrating to lose some old favorites—particularly if they're leaving before you've gotten around to marathoning them! If you've got any of these shows sitting in your queue, now's the time to get caught up before they're gone.

Watch out for future removals, and as always, happy streaming!
