"Heartbreaking": W.A.G.s to Riches star Julz recalls "The Great Termination"

W.A.G.s to Riches Season 1 Episode 1 premiered on Netflix on January 22, 2025. The first episode of the reality show featured cast members at Porsha's cocktail event.

During the evening, Alexis, Ashley, and Julz talked about the latter's termination and the group text she received from Kanye West. Referring to the time when she was fired from her job, Julz confessed:

"The great termination happened in March.....In that moment, I realized he doesn't give a f*ck about me, and so that was heartbreaking because I feel that I've put so much time and energy into helping him with his vision."

W.A.G.s to Riches Season 1 Episode 1 - Julz opens up about working with Kanye West and how she was fired

W.A.G.s to Riches Episode 1 featured Porsha's "Cocktail hour," which many cast members and their partners attended. Among the cast members was Julz, who received a group message from her former employer, Kanye West.

"(Kanye) Ye just texted me in a group chat with 18 other people for the first time. I haven't spoken to him since the whole firing thing happened. I don't believe that it was him that posted that I was being fired," shared Julz.

She further mentioned her co-worker, Milo, who "consistently bullied" her. When Ashley asked about the text message that Julz just received, she said:

"He (Kanye) put a screenshot in and he goes, "Milo is doing things on behalf of the company after I fired him. He's telling collaborators I'm manic and proceeding to share all employee history and potential hires and fires with the person in charge of the app, which is completely unprofessional."

She told the cameras about the "great termination" in March. She referred to that as "heartbreaking."

Referring to the text Julz received, Ashley mentioned that "a text" doesn't pay her bills. However, W.A.G.s to Riches star Julz was convinced that "maybe" it was Milo "this whole time."

While Ashley thought otherwise, she told her he wouldn't "let somebody else" fully act for him. However, Julz mentioned she had "seen him do it." After learning that, Ashley asked Julz if she wanted to "really, really" continue working with "that kinda person."

On the other hand, Julz mentioned she wanted to talk with Kanye and ask him:

"Hey, can we just come to an agreement adn you pay me X amount of dollar?"

Rephrasing that, Ashley suggested:

"Hey, we can settle for what I'm owed, or we can take it to court."

Later, when Alexis and Ashley had a one-on-one conversation, the latter asked if Alexis believed everything that Julz shared. She also mentioned how Julz's reputation was "not good already," and so she "kind of might believe" that Julz "probably needed to be fired."
