Love is Blind: Germany's finale episode featured the couples who got engaged earlier on the social experiment. One of the couples who later parted ways, Shila and Tolga, were also present among the participants.
After the engagements, the engaged couples were sent to the retreat. The purpose was for the engaged participants to explore their physical connection with each other and learn more about their partners.
While sharing about how Tolga's behavior changed at the retreat, Shila shared:
"Hearing all those things from you, it's pretty normal not to be all chill, cool and nice. I can't do it. I'm a strong woman. I'm a confident woman, I'm tough. But I can be vulnerable too. I think as he noticed that he can't pull off his s*it show with me, he instantly lost interest."
Love is Blind: Germany Reunion: Shila shares what happened between her and Tolga at the retreat
Recently aired Love is Blind: Germany's finale featured how participants who parted ways shared their views about their partners and what happened between them. While a few of the couples parted ways, one couple, Alina and Ilias, got married during the social experiment's finale.
Referring to the relationship and bond that Tolga and Shila shared, the male host said it was "very intense" between them.
"On Crete, I was shocked to hear what you said, Tolga. "Marriage or the preceding level to marriage feels like a prison." That's just one of many examples that we heard here and there. And Shila, you were such a strong woman and we were really rooting for you."
The host told Shila she was a "different woman" on Crete at the retreat. A flashback clip was played from when Shila and Tolga were at the retreat, where he shared:
"I can't do anything anymore, it's like I'm being choked. And I can't talk to anybody and do anything."
When Love is Blind: Germany star Shila asked if he was "serious," Tolga replied, "Totally." Later on, in another scene, where Shila mentions cooking, he tells her that she would "have to cook." after their marriage.
Another scene featuring the couple at the beach showed Shila sharing how, despite the social experiment not being a "normal way of meeting," she would do it again. However, Tolga's views were different.
"I'd change a few things," said Tolga.
Later in the reunion, the male host asked Shila how she felt. The female cast member said that she was "speechless." She mentioned that she didn't know what went "wrong" between them.
Love is Blind: Germany's female host then asked why Shila went "silent" at the retreat. Shila revealed that she "believed" in the experiment. She said deciding to "accept" their engagement was "not easy." However, she wanted to "stick" to and "believe" in that decision.
Further, on the reunion episode, Shila and Tolga shared their sides on what happened at the retreat and why they ended their engagement.
Love is Blind: Germany Reunion episode is now streaming on Netflix.
