The 1000-lb Sisters have returned with even more outrageous exploits. A family vacation to a zoo surprises Amy Slaton with an unexpected meeting in the jaw-dropping teaser for the April 29, 2025, episode.

As she was feeding one of the camels, she realized that it was drooling on her. When she bent to check, the camel unexpectedly bit her arm, causing her to be visibly shocked and in pain.

“F*ck, the camel just bit me. He got me good,” she told her boyfriend in the clip.

Everyone in the car was obviously shaken by the incident, which transformed what was supposed to be a fun outing into a chaotic one. The bite turned into one of the most talked-about scenes in the preview, despite Amy's later attempts to shrug it off.

This latest scene continues the story of the Slaton family's erratic and frequently comical travels. Fans of the show are aware that Amy and her team never have an easy time on an expedition, and this zoo mishap just serves to highlight that fact.

This camel bite scene offers a mixture of genuine concern for Amy's welfare and laughter as viewers await the entire program.

TLC released a preview clip for the upcoming episode of 1000-lb Sisters, where Amy Slaton was shown having a good time with her children and boyfriend Brian Scott Lovvorn, but things quickly took a bad turn.

Amy talked about the family at a drive-through zoo, where visitors were required to remain in their cars and buckle up their children. Amy and Brian bought twelve buckets of food to feed the animals from their car to add to the adventure.

The thrill doesn't last long, though. A camel unexpectedly approaches their car and sticks its head inside to eat. Amy leaned over to wipe herself after the camel drooled on her leg, and just then, the camel bit her arm in a startling moment. Amy screams out in pain as the camel holds a tight grip on her arm, visibly shaken by the unexpected incident.

Amy Slaton hospitalized after a camel bite on 1000-lb Sisters according to reports

The camel bite caused the situation to rapidly worsen. Us Weekly revealed in September 2024 that Amy was transported on a stretcher to the emergency department after the incident.

Authorities quickly arrived at the Tennessee Safari Park after a zoo employee dialed 911. But what started as a typical medical emergency took a surprising turn.

The Crockett County Sheriff's Department reports that deputies detected "suspicious odors" emanating from the car. Amy and Brian were taken into custody on two charges of endangering children and for possessing illegal substances, such as marijuana and mushrooms.

A Department of Children and Family Services inquiry was initiated since their kids, Gage and Glenn, were present at the time of the arrest. Amy subsequently entered a guilty plea to simple possession, escaping jail time but being subject to a mandatory drug test, a fine, and a suspended sentence.
