“Haven’t been accused”: Million Dollar Secret cast member Phillip admits to his strategic move

Million Dollar Secret gives twelve players a chance to hunt down the contestant who has been given a large amount of money.

The millionaire's job is to complete their agenda as the remaining cast members attempt to hunt them down. In episode 3, Phillip was the millionaire and decided not to complete his agenda in order to protect himself.

He was glad that no one was pointing fingers at him, and he said:

"Listen man, it's going well, I think. I haven't been accused. So, from a strategic standpoint, it doesn't make sense to complete the agenda. Especially when I see that there is some friction that's taking place between Lauren and Sydnee."

Million Dollar Secret episode 3, titled Going to Hell on a Scholarship, was released on Netflix on March 26, 2025. The episode synopsis reads as follows:

"One player drops a bombshell in an effort to win trust, but will it backfire? Alliances form as the group hunts for the millionaire with renewed zeal."

Million Dollar Secret cast member Phillip decided not to complete the agenda

On the Million Dollar Secret episode 3, it was revealed that Phillip opted not to complete the given task of cancelling three votes. He didn't want to appear suspicious to the cast members who were already occupied with Sydnee and Lauren's clash. As viewers already know, Lauren came clean about her identity, that she was previously a millionaire; however, she did keep some valuable information to herself and wasn't ready to share that.

Sydnee claimed that Lauren was a "dangerous" player and that she had to be sent home. During this drama, alliances were seen forming, and Phillip realized that it was not worth it to complete his agenda if the contestants got suspicious of him and decided to vote him out. He told the cameras:

"So, I take one vote against me, and right now I can just sit pretty and fly under the radar."

He continued explaining his game strategy to stay under the radar and observe everyone else's game plan. Philip said:

"My strategy is I don't want to put up a fight to get the clue and have people thinking that 'oh why are you putting up a fight. Because you're the millionaire?'"

Later in the episode, he admitted to feeling satisfied with his decision and stated he had no regrets. According to the Million Dollar Secret cast member, it was too early for him to have the money, as he wanted this to happen on the last day.

Despite attempting not to be obvious about what he was hiding, Cara was quick to notice his behavior. She told the cameras her prediction:

"I think Phil is the millionaire; it just makes so much sense. The millionaire didn't complete their agenda, he's been trying so hard to fly under the radar. Phillip is just very suspicious to me right now."

At the end of the Million Dollar Secret episode, Phil got more attention after the players noticed he didn't admit who he voted for. Lauren was eliminated from the competition after the millionaire's vote, which solely decided who was to be sent home. Hence, Cara became more sure of her prediction.
