"Hate each other": Selling The City fans react to Eleonora's friendship with Jade

Selling The City was released on Netflix on January 3, 2025, with all eight episodes of the reality show. Two of the cast members, Eleonora and Jade, who have been friends for over a decade, faced various issues throughout the season.

Selling The City: Jade opens up about her friendship with Eleonora over the years

Selling The City Episode 4 featured Justin and Jade at a listing, where she opened up about her friendship with Eleonora over the years.

"I honestly just don't know how many more times I can defend myself and my friendship with her. It's exhausting," shared Jade.

Justin mentioned that there was an "ego tug of war" between them.

She then revealed the "incident with the surprise" and how she learned her "lesson" from Eleonora.

"So five years ago, I threw Eleonora a surprise birthday party. At that time, she was in a little bit of situationship with Justin. Now, I would like to say nobody knew about it, but the other people who were invited to the birthday were actually all colleagues. When she came down the stairs of the restaurant, she was a little embarrassed because I invited Justin."

She added:

"I think she didn't want anybody to find out she was sleeping with Justin. It's not like I was waiting for her like, 'By the way, Justin f*cked her last night.' She started yelling. Everybody's looking at me, like, 'What's going on?' I am trying to pacify the situation. It continued to escalate, and it eventually ended up turning into the table and being escorted out of the restaurant."

After that, Jade mentioned how she and Eleonora spent "almost two years" of "not talking" to her. Selling The City star Jade mentioned that she had never had to work "so hard" on a friendship with Eleonora.
