"I just know that I'm extremely competitive. I hate losing more than anything. So I promise you that I'm going to do anything and everything to stay here as long as I can."

During his interview, the Survivor cast member Mitch shared that he would be incorporating the lessons from seasons 45 and 46 into his game strategy. Mitch emphasized building trust and developing a strong connection with his tribe members while also having the ability to move past not agreeing on the same vote. Mitch highlighted the unpredictable nature of the game, mentioning season 46, where everyone was "ready to the pull the trigger," targeting any contestant in sight.

The Survivor revealed that his main goal was to play the game strategically by keeping "as many big threats" around him. He said:

"So I want to try and keep as many big threats around me as possible. There were thousands of thousands of people who applied to be out here. Just because I stutter doesn't mean my story is any more important or dramatic than anyone else's here, right? So just trying to bring everyone else along with me of like, “Hey, it's fine!”

Mitch continued, stating that he wants people to feel comfortable talking about their struggles and opening up about their hardships. He talked about building an emotional bond with one of the cast members and completing the tasks with a ride or die mindset. He stated:

"I want people to feel a deep connection with me. And I think because I am so willing to talk about my struggles, it creates an environment where other people want to tell me stuff, too. And I'm just hoping that, if I can build this relationship with someone and be like, “Hey, I want to play with you, and I'm going to do whatever I can for both of us to make it far.""

Later in the interview, Mitch admitted that he didn't want to "paint himself as a threat" but rather wanted others to look for the idols. His main strategy was to focus on finding out who has the advantages in the game and is aware of valuable information. However, Mitch felt that toward the end of the game, everyone ends up becoming a threat as suspicions arise.
