Love is Blind season 8 cast members Taylor and Daniel talk about their past

In the episode, Taylor got emotional talking to Daniel about how their connection had grown stronger. When Daniel praised her, Taylor stated that the way he reassured her was the "nicest thing" someone had ever said to her. Their conversation then shifted towards a more serious topic when Taylor opened up about her insecurities. She said:

"I don't feel like we have ever talked much about our biggest insecurity."

Daniel shared that his insecurities stemmed from people pointing out that he was a "late bloomer." In middle school, kids used to make fun of him for being "smaller than everyone" which deeply affected the Love is Blind star. Daniel further elaborated on his insecurity about his height:

"A lot of insecurities just came from when i was younger. You know, late bloomer and all that stuff. People in middle school find the dumbest things to like, make fun of people for. But it still sticks with you."

For Taylor, one of her biggest insecurities was the pressure she felt to look a certain way. She talked about feeling "guilty" for eating and then focusing too much on the way her body looked. Upon hearing this, Daniel acknowledged how this issue affects both women and men. He talked about comparing himself to the unrealistic fitness standards in society and criticizing himself when looking in the mirror.

Taylor said:

"I used to feel so guilty, eating pizza, I don't weigh myself anymore."

After that, the Love is Blind cast member opened up about her previous relationship and her ex. She shared that her ex wouldn't post her on his social media account and would comment on every pretty and attractive girl's photo, which added to Taylor's insecurity.

Toward the end of their date, the couple felt they were similar in many ways but were scared to find out the outcome of their relationship as the social experiment progressed. The upcoming episodes will focus more on how Taylor and Daniel's connection evolves.

The next batch of Love is Blind season 8 episodes is set to air on Netflix on Friday, February 21, 2025. The season finale is scheduled to be released on Friday, March 7, 2025.
