Fans always look forward to easter eggs in Harley Quinn's new episodes and their possible connection with comics. One of the biggest surprises of Episode 8 was Harley and Ivy freeing Lex Luthor, a powerful antagonist in DC comics, from the Black Gate prison.

Let's have a look at some easter eggs from the latest episode:

1) Blackgate Penitentiary- Fans of the comics might have recognized Blackgate Penitentiary in Harley Quinn's recent episode, which is Gotham City's primary prison. It is befitting that a criminal like Lex was held at Blackgate. In addition to Blackgate, Arkham Asylum is another fictional psychiatric hospital from the comics.

2) LexCorp- Lex Luthor-owned conglomerate in New Troy, Metropolis, was also featured momentarily in the latest episode before Lena changed it to LenaCorp. Fans of the comics might have recognized this organization, which started as an aerospace engineering firm but soon turned large under Lex's leadership.

3) Lena's vision board- Lena seems to be the IT girl in touch with modern times who believes in the power of manifestation. Fans got a peek at her vision board in one of the scenes from Harley Quinn Episode 8. In addition to LenaCorp, she also changed Metrapolis' name to "Lenalopolis" on her vision board, with the catchphrase "You're About To Get Luthored!"

4) Batman's phone logs- While Lena is the IT girl, Bruce Wayne, aka, Batman was her dejected/ignored lover, who was trying to call her multiple times. During one of his many efforts, we get a sneak peek at Batman's contact list, which had names like Lex Luthor, Clark Kent, Alfred, and Dick Grayson. Two particular contacts had a broken heart emoji with them, Talia al Ghul and Catwoman, because of the history he shares with them.

What happened in Harley Quinn Season 5 Episode 8?

She also blackmails Harley's father, who lures his daughter to her home, where she fights with Lena's goons. Elsewhere, Ivy consoles a depressed Bruce and uses his information on Gail, a security system, to reach Lena, but her efforts are all futile.
