Bobbie finds it hard to believe that Isabella is her half-sister, and now they both will have to run the bar together. They have clashing personalities, and Bobbie tries hard to get rid of Isabella but fails.

Hollywood's one of the famous personalities, Reba McEntire, plays the titular role of Bobbie McAllister in Happy's Place Season 1. She's hardworking and determined to run her father's business but struggles after the arrival of her half-sister.

McEntire previously shed light on her character, saying:

"Bobbie’s been running the tavern for the last 10 years. She was married, but her husband passed away. She has one daughter that is deployed in the Army, so she's pretty much by herself and her life is spent in the tavern."

McEntire explained that Bobbie is now a single mother whose only child is serving in the army and stationed away from home. Her husband is no more, so Bobbie spends most of her time alone.

As for Reba McEntire's other projects, Reba stands out as the most popular, followed by other TV shows like The Voice, Malibu Country, and more.

2) Isabella played by Belissa Escobedo

Actress Belissa Escobedo secured the role of Bobbie's half-sister, Isabella. While Bobbie prefers to run Happy's Place in traditional ways, Isabella often shares her modern perspective and wishes to make changes to the bar.

The actress loved playing Isabella alongside her co-stars. While talking about the sitcom, Escobedo said:

"It being a sitcom is so fun and special. And I’d never done one before... At the beginning there was little bit of ‘Oh wow, I hope I can keep up.’ But after that first read through with the entire cast […] it just felt like that connection was already there and that comfortability."

Apart from the NBC sitcom, Belissa Escobedo has played various other roles in projects, including Hocus Pocus 2, Blue Beetle, and more.

Melissa Peterman is seen playing bartender Gabby in Happy's Place Season 1. She's not just a staff member but a close friend of Bobbie. The actress also talked about her role in the NBC sitcom and explained that Gabby is quite different from her role in Reba.

While Gabyy is "quirky for sure," her "flaws are in different areas," which Melissa Peterman liked. Apart from the sitcom, Peterman has starred in Baby Daddy, The Singing Bee, and more.

4) Emmett played by Rex Linn

Reba McEntire's real-life partner, Rex Linn, has joined the cast of Happy's Place as a kind-hearted and talented cook. He has been working at the bar since Bobbie's father was alive and had a great bond with him.

Both Emmett and Bobbie like each other but can't reveal their feelings. However, their relationship will be a key storyline in the upcoming season. As for Linn's other roles, he has been a part of CSI: Miami, Rush Hour, Big Sky, and more.

5) Steve played by Pablo Castelblanco

Another intriguing character who often adds to the show's humor is Bobbie's accountant, Steve. Played by Pablo Castelblanco, Steve's very particular about order and routine and hates germs.

Castelblanco first expected that his character would often clash with Gabby, which would become the main part of his story. However, Happy's Place Season 1 impressively touched upon Steve and Emmett's camaraderie. The actor said:

"Our writers have been very good about pairing us together and finding how the dynamics work. One of my biggest surprises is the blooming friendship between Emmett and Steve that we've seen throughout many episodes."

Pablo Castelblanco has played roles in projects like Alaska Daily, Solver, and more.

6) Takoda played by Tokala Black Elk

Apart from being an actor, Tokala Black Elk is a member of the Oglala Sioux Tribe and plays a Native American writer in the NBC sitcom. He's seen during comedic interaction with Steve, who has OCD.

Black Elk explained that his character is calm and adaptable. He said:

"I feel like there's an essence of Takoda's ability to be able to mash with the different characters and blend with their energies."

Be it catching up with Emmett in the kitchen or vibing with Steve in the hallway, Takoda can do it all. He's not just a writer but a likable and easygoing part of the group. Tokala Black Elk has starred in American Primeval, A Dark Foe, The Bygone, and more.
