The three episodes that are available for streaming on Paramount+ bring the viewers up to the reality of Keith Hunter Jesperson, otherwise known as the Happy Face killer, through his daughter's perspective. Melissa G Moore comments on the show

"It shows what it’s like to have these letters still coming into my mailbox, him watching my Instagram, strangers reaching out to me, just the emotions of what that’s like, and the emotions of what my children go through, having a grandfather who’s a serial killer"

The last episode placed Melissa in front of national television, where she accepted the reality that she was Keith Jesperson's daughter and decided to take control of the narrative. Melissa is also on a journey to prove that her father had one more victim than what the authorities are aware of.

She's trying to get a man who is wrongly convicted for one of her father's murders to acquittal. The episodes place a huge spotlight on her and her family, putting them in the path of danger. In an ominous tone, the episodes set the family up for some unwelcome attention.

The fourth episode of the series will factor in some new characters, particularly Melissa's brother which will bring with itself a host of new insights and developments.
