Prepare yourself for the new season of Unsolved Mysteries that you can watch this Halloween on Netflix. It is set to premiere on October 2, 2024. It will have four new episodes that will explore new and strange cold cases as well as spooky supernatural events. Created by John Cosgrove and Terry Dunn Meurer, Unsolved Mysteries covers everything spooky from unsolved murders to encounters with aliens.

In July, Volume 4 was released, adding five new episodes to the show. Volume 4 included famous cases like Jack the Ripper and the Mothman, along with other intriguing episodes like Body in the Basement, The Severed Head, and Murder, Center Stage.

In an interview with Variety, co-creator Terry Dunn Meurer shared that Season 5 will be released just in time for Halloween and said,

“It is the most baffling mystery of all of them I’ve ever done.”

2) It’s What’s Inside

This thriller is going to be creepy and equally funny. It is a thriller that shows a few friends coming together for a pre-wedding party. But, just before we take it to be another one of those clichéd slasher movies, the plot takes a dark twist and throws us into wondering what’s going to happen next.

An old friend shows up with a mysterious game that digs up buried secrets, hidden desires, and unresolved grudges among the friends. The party has an interesting mix of friends from different walks of life. There is an influencer, a wealthy trust-fund kid, an artist, and even a spiritualist, amongst them.

There’s Shelby, played by Brittany O'Grady, and her boyfriend Cyrus, portrayed by James Morosini. Also at the party is Nikki, the influencer played by Alycia Debnam-Carey, along with Reuben, the groom-to-be, played by Devon Terrell. Gavin Leatherwood plays Dennis, the wealthy trust-fund kid, and Reina Hardesty plays Brooke, the artist. Nina Bloomgarden portrays Maya, the spiritual one and David Thompson plays the unpredictable Forbes.

Directed and written by Greg Jardin, this film quickly shifts the celebratory mood to a psychological nightmare. Releasing this Halloween on Netflix on October 4, 2024, you can expect intense suspense, tension, and unexpected twists.


3) The Last Night at Tremore Beach

Created and directed by Oriol Paulo, this series lands on October 25, 2024, on Netflix. It is a psychological thriller with eight episodes. The Last Night at Tremore Beach is based on Mikel Santiago's book of the same name.

The plot revolves around a musician and composer who is going through a difficult time. In search of peace and to focus on finishing his latest piece of music, he goes to live in a quiet coastal village. He is all alone in his locality, except for a married couple living next door.

Things start getting creepy when during a storm, the musician meets with an accident. After this, everything becomes nightmarish with him starting to get some really disturbing and terrifying visions involving his neighbors.

The cast includes Javier Rey and Ana Polvorosa, along with Willy Toledo and Pilar Castro. This series is something to look out for if you want your Halloween on Netflix to be full of suspense, mystery, and psychological tension with a haunting seaside setting.


4) Time Cut

Time Cut is set to be out on Netflix on October 30. With its mix of thriller, horror, and a trip back to the early 2000s, this movie is sure to give viewers a spooky Halloween ride.

It is a teen slasher that will definitely make you feel nostalgic. Directed by Hannah Macpherson and co-written by Macpherson and Michael Kennedy, the movie is about a high school science whiz, Lucy Field, played by Madison Bailey.

She discovers a time machine and does what is expected from a person with access to it, she decides to travel back in time. But, where does she travel to? So here’s the thing, her sister was murdered and that’s been haunting her for years. So, she decides to go back in time to save her sister, Summer, played by Antonia Gentry.

Watch out for Time Cut this Halloween on Netflix as it has a rare blend of time travel with nostalgia and suspense.


5) Murder Mindfully

This comedy crime series will drop on October 31, 2024, on Netflix. It’s a dark comedy series with Tom Schilling as the lead character. He plays Björn Diemel, who is a lawyer suffering from a burnout. Hence, he decides to turn his life around by attending a mindfulness seminar.

What starts as a journey to find balance and spend more time with his daughter, quickly takes a wild turn. Björn uses his new mindfulness techniques to deal with his dangerous mafia client, Dragan Sergowicz. And as expected, the police and the mafia are after him.

But, thanks to the mindfulness techniques, Björn manages to stay calm and completely reworks his life; of course, not counting the number of murders needed along the way.

The show is witty with sharp dialogues and situational comedy. It is based on the bestselling book series by German author Karsten Dusse.
