The Gentlemen is an action comedy television series, created by acclaimed diector Guy Ritchie. It's a spin-off of his movie of the same name and follows Edward Horniman, who inherits 15,000 acres of land after the death of his father and becomes the new Duke. However, he soon discovers that part of the land is being used by Susie Glass and her criminal boss, who is also her father, Bobby Glass to grow illegal weed.

Netflix has announced that The Gentlemen is coming back with a new season, just five months after the first season debuted. Fans of the show will get to see Theo James and Kaya Scodelario reprise their roles in the eight-episode series.

The first season of The Gentlemen was a huge hit, and the creators believe the second season will be just as successful. In addition to the main cast, the second season will also feature Daniel Ings as Freddy Horniman.

Season 2 of The Gentlemen on Netflix will continue its story after Eddie officially partners up with Susie. In season 1, Eddie tries to free his family from the grasp of evil men, but as he indulges in the criminal world to tackle them, he realises that he not only enjoys dealing with men from the cannabis trade, he is good at it as well.

As the plotline in season 1 proceeds, Horniman becomes a reluctant but genteel gangster as he partners with Susie. The two embark on the journey of facing numerous opposition from the rival gangster families. During an Interview with Netflix, James gave the viewers an idea of the plot of season 2.

“I think they’ve grown to love each other in their own way, but I think they’ll never fully trust each other because they are so different and they’re from such vastly different worlds. There’s a love between them, but ultimately they will never be from the same cloth.”
