What to expect from Graveyard Season 2?

The show highlights femicide, where women are killed simply based on their gender. It portrays how misogyny, domestic abuse, and cultural beliefs contribute to this growing problem.

Many cases remain unsolved due to corruption, bias, and social indifference. Graveyard sheds light on the difficulties of seeking justice in a flawed system. The investigators themselves battle personal demons while trying to stay committed to their work. Their mental and emotional toll is a significant aspect of the story.

At the center of the narrative is Onem Ozulku, who is doubted by the men in her department despite being a key figure of the Special Crimes Unit. As she continues to fight for justice for her victims, she also has to prove her mettle to the department.

Graveyard season 2 is written by Onur Bober, Ozden Ucar, and Evren Oguz. While not based on a single real-life case, the series is inspired by actual crimes and systemic issues faced by women globally.

All eight episodes of Graveyard Season 2 are available for streaming exclusively on Netflix.
