In Bridgerton Season 4, McGonigal has been cast in the role of Hazel, a young maid. Though Hazel has faced several issues and struggles in her life, it has not deterred her spirit. She is described as a young and cheerful girl who is full of energy and befriends people easily.

This marks McGonigal’s first major television credit. She previously made an episodic appearance in Prime Video’s sci-fi drama The Power in 2023, playing the role of Farah. Her introduction in Bridgerton Season 4 is expected to bring a new dimension to the show.

What else do we know about Bridgerton Season 4?

The upcoming installment of the hit Netflix series is going to be focused on the love story of Benedict, the second-oldest sibling in the family. He meets Sophie Baek, a girl who has been through a difficult phase, at a masquerade ball.

Sparks fly instantly between the two, but whether they will be able to fulfill their romance forms the premise of the season. Luke Thompson returns as Benedict, and Yerin Ha joins him as Sophie Baek.

Apart from Gracie McGonigal, the new additions to the cast include Katie Leung as Lady Araminta Gun, Michelle Mao as Rosamund Li, and Isabella Wei as Posy Li. Araminta is a strong-headed Lady and Rosamund and Posy are her daughters.

The rest of the cast includes Jonathan Bailey as Anthony, Simone Ashley as Kate Sharma, Adjoa Andoh as Lady Danbury, Lorraine Ashbourne as Mrs. Varley, Victor Alli as John Stirling, Julie Andrews as Lady Whistledown, and Nicola Coughlan as Penelope.

The series is one of the most-watched programmes on Netflix and has won several accolades since its premiere in 2020. The release date for the next season has not been announced yet, but it is expected to release in 2026.
