"Got betrayed" - Battle Camp fans react to Tony thinking Gabi was 'the love of his life'

Battle Camp dropped 10 episodes on Netflix recently, and it has become a fan favorite for the drama it delivered. However, reality TV star Tony, according to the viewers, has been the most entertaining of them all.

It was seen that he really connected with Gabi and always described her as "his type." And this is evident enough from how he was very much connected to Hannah back when he appeared on The Mole. Hannah was also a short blonde, and Gabi also fits the bill.

The Netflix series Battle Camp invites stars from the platform's reality TV universe to compete against each other and take home $250,000. As for Tony, he had first appeared on The Mole, and Gabi was seen on Cheer.

Gabi had never felt the same towards Tony, even though he was head over heels for her. She has a boyfriend back home and was just hoping to be on his good side so he does not go against her during eliminations.

However, when the time came, she cast a vote to get him out of the game, but she got eliminated. This made Tony cry and throw a "temper tantrum," as he liked to call it. Also, he got very depressed the next day and left the show on his own accord.

As for Battle Camp fans, they loved the drama Tony provided them. They also did not hesitate to point out how The Mole star falls in love with a "cute blonde girl" in every show he stars, and then they break his heart because you can't find the "love of your life" in just two days. Highlighting this, a fan on X wrote,

"If I had a nickel for every time Tony turned a reality competition show into a dating show and then got betrayed by the blonde woman he thought was the love of his life, I’d have 2 nickels, which isn’t a lot, but it’s weird that it happened twice."

"tony is genuinely CRACKED but i would be lying if i said he wasn’t entertaining," said another fan.

"I'm just going to say that I find Tony to be much more entertaining on this show than I did on the mole," expressed a fan.

"Tony hysterically crying over Gabi leaving after she voted for him is peak tv," wrote an user.

Appreciating Tony's performance on Battle Camp, a fan said,

"I gotta give Netflix their props for casting Tony from the Mole and Battle Camp. This man says the most outrageous things and has no poker face. Outwardly laughing at others’ demise, constantly mewing, and ogling - truly great for reality TV. Pure nonsense."

Gabi and Tony's bond on Battle Camp

Gabi is an emotional person, and during her time on Battle Camp, she was devastated to be playing against Irina from her team and voting her out. After the same, as they came back to their rooms, Tony was quick to comfort her and even called her his "girlfriend," to which Gabi simply laughed amid tears.

Even though Gabi played a strategic game, she did not want to upset Tony and went along with the flow so he would not turn against her and manipulate everyone to vote her out. However, she decided this was too big of a threat to keep around and had cast a vote against him on her own.

Battle Camp fans found this very humorous as Tony was played once again by someone whom he thought was the love of his life. He started "ugly" crying at the vote, and he left the show the next day after being depressed the whole morning.
