Goosebumps: The Vanishing, the second season of the American supernatural horror series, is set to premiere on January 10, 2025. Created by Rob Letterman and Nicholas Stoller, both series are rooted in the books authored by R. L. Stine.
Each season will have distinct storylines with certain Goosebumps monsters making recurring appearances. The first season revolved around a group of teenagers who investigate the death of a teen who passed three decades ago and accidentally ended up letting supernatural forces out in the world.

The showrunner of the series is Hilary Winston. Stoller, Winston, and Letterman serve as executive producers along with Neal H. Moritz, Caitlin Friedman, Pavun Shetty, Iole Lucchese, Conor Welch, James Eagan, Karl Frankenfield, and Erin O'Malley.
Disney+ and Hulu recently dropped the teaser of Goosebumps: The Vanishing which introduces the season 2 protagonist played by David Schwimmer known for his role as Ross in Friends.
The second season will be based on the books, The Haunted Car, Stay Out of the Basement, The Girl Who Cried Monster, Monster Blood, The Ghost Next Door, and Welcome to Camp Nightmare.

According to the recently released teaser, Goosebumps: The Vanishing is all set to hit Disney+ and Hulu on January 10, 2025. Both streaming platforms will see the release of all eight episodes on the show's premiere date.
What to expect from the plot of Goosebumps: The Vanishing?
While the first season left the audience with cliffhangers, season 2 will be based on new characters. The fifteen-second teaser suggests that the dangers of the new season may be a chaos-causing entity that needs a host.
Audience can expect the second season's plot to be about twins Devin and Cece Brewer. With their parents divorced, both twins are sent to stay with their father, Anthony Brewer. A former botany professor, the twins stay with their father in Gravesend, Brooklyn for the summer.
With a threat hanging over them, they soon discover dark secrets that lead them to a mystery unfolding. The twins along with their friends go on a journey into the unknown where they stumble upon a story of four teenagers who disappeared in 1994 and were never seen again.

The second season's cast is all set to feature David Schwimmer as Anthony Brewer, Ana Ortiz playing the role of Jen, Sam McCarthy as Devin, Jayden Bartels as Cece, Elijah M. Cooper as CJ, Galilea La Salvia as Frankie, and Francesca Noel as Alex.
In recurring roles, season 2 will also star Arjun Athalye as Sameer, Christopher Paul Richards as Matty, Eloise Payet as Hannah, Stony Blyden as Trey, Sakina Jaffrey as Ramona, and Kyra Tantao as Nicole.
