After debuting on October 13, 2023, Goosebumps Season 2 is finally here, with a new set of characters and a new story, The Vanishing.

Based on the book series by R.L. Stine, Rob Letterman, and Nicholas Stoller created Goosebumps as a reboot of the 1995 original television series. But unlike the 1995 anthology series, this reboot is a serialized anthology style that will cover a complete story, inspired by Stine's universe.

Who is in the cast of Goosebumps Season 2?

Goosebumps Season 2 brings a fresh team of cast who will play a set of new characters in The Vanishing. Friends fame actor David Schwimmer will play the role of Anthony. Schwimmer is well known for playing the character of Ross Geller from the 90s hit sitcom Friends.

Here, he will play the character of Anthony, a single father to two teenagers who discover a mystery within their home, setting forth a chain of terrifying incidents that will lead them to a spine-chilling past tale. What is the plot of Goosebumps Season 2?

While Stine's novellas are the primary source material for the makers for Season 2, it looks like they have followed a serialized approach for the show. Rather than adapting and focusing on one novella, the makers seem to have taken various aspects from different novellas to capture the essence of Stine's works.

As seen from the trailer, Season 2 contains incidents and episodes from various novellas, including 'Stay out of the Basement,' 'The Haunted Car', and 'It Came from Beneath the Sink!'

The plot follows teenage siblings Devin and Cece, who arrive in Brooklyn to spend the summer with their father, Anthony, who warns them to steer clear of the house's basement.
