Netflix's Love is Blind: Germany dropped the first batch of episodes on January 3, 2025. The first four episodes of the social experiment features singles being introduced before going on blind dates. After a series of blind dates, some participants found their potential match, whereas a few got their hearts broken on not finding the right connection.

One of the participants, Hanni, found two potential connections, Ilias and Daniel. She decided to move forward with the latter while leaving the thought of what it would be like if she opted for Ilias.

As fans know, engaged couples are sent to the show's next phase — vacation — to explore physical connection with their partners. During this time, the engaged couples get to see each other for the first time, and also meet other engaged participants.

Love is Blind: Germany's fourth episode had Ilias discussing meeting fellow engaged couples with his partner, Alina. He asked Alina if she was excited to meet fellow participants after they got engaged. He shared that he was curious to see what Jen and Hanni looked like.

Ilias confessed:

"Honestly, I'm excited to finally meet Hanni in person, and that's what I'm really looking forward to the most. Even though I feel quite tense."

Later that evening when engaged participants met for the first time after their engagements, Hanni and Ilias also saw each other for the first time ever.

She also asked him if he pictured her like how she actually looked, and he said, "Not exactly." When fellow participant Tolga asked Hanni about Illias, she said they dated "for a while" and that he was her "number two."
