Ginny & Georgia premiered on Netflix in 2021, and fans accepted the show well. Following its second season, it has now been officially confirmed that the show will return for a third installment. Created by Sarah Lampert, this Canadian comedy-drama’s official synopsis reads,
“After years on the run, Georgia desperately wants to put down roots in picturesque New England and give her family something they've never had: a normal life. But it's not all carpool and Kombucha; Georgia's past threatens her family's new lifestyle, and she will do anything to protect her family.”

Brianne Howey as Georgia
One of the main characters, Brianne Howey, plays the role of Georgia, Ginny's and Autin’s mother. While, in the beginning, she appeared as this sweet and simple woman who just wanted the best for her family, it gradually became evident that she had a lot to hide and must do so to survive.
Besides Ginny & Georgia, Howey has also been part of projects like - I'm Dying Up Here, The Passage, Batwoman, etc.
Antonia Gentry as Ginny
Another protagonist of the show, Antonia Gentry, plays Georgia’s daughter, Ginny. She is a teenager going through a lot because of the constant moving around.
Ginny also serves as the narrator of Ginny & Georgia and sometimes feels that she might eventually be turning into her mother. Ginny’s romantic life is also quite tumultuous, and with the knowledge of her mother being a murderer, things turn even more difficult for her.

Sara Waisglass As Maxine
Sara Waisglass plays the role of Maxine, a lesbian and Marcus’ twin sister. She is also a key member of the group MANG and has treated Ginny well since she joined them. However, despite being warm and friendly, she is also shown to have a neurotic side that tends to come out when unexpected things happen.
For instance, she does not take her breakup with Sophie well, nor does she react joyously to the news of Ginny and Marcus’ romance. However, her character goes through development and growth throughout the course of two seasons.

Mason Temple as Hunter Chen
Mason Temple is cast as Hunter Chen in Ginny & Georgia and is Ginny’s boyfriend. Despite being shown to be a positive individual, it is revealed that Hunter has issues of his own, especially regarding the treatment Asians receive there. Moreover, given how Ginny is totally attracted to Marcus, her relationship with Hunter becomes troubling despite Hunter being a really decent guy.

Felix Mallard As Marcus
Felix Mallard’s Marcus is the stoner guy in Ginny & Georgia to whom Ginny feels deeply attracted. However, more than his external behavior, it is his internal qualities that draw Ginny to him. Moreover, Marcus also suffers from depression, and that further complicates things between him and Ginny. The fact that both of them were already in relationships also made matters worse.

Katie Douglas As Abby
Katie Douglas brings Abby to life in Ginny & Georgia. She is a part of the MANG group and is shown to be going through a difficult time because of her parent’s divorce. While being a character who likes to have fun and seems outgoing, Abby suffers from body image issues. However, she tries to be a good friend to Ginny, and they bond better throughout the two seasons.
Katie has previously starred in The Girl Who Escaped: The Kara Robinson Story, Mary Kills People, Spooksville, etc.
Scott Porter as Paul Randolph
Scott Porter plays the enigmatic Paul Randolph, Wellsbury’s Mayor, the town where Ginny and Georgia come to settle down. Paul also turns out to be Georgia’s romantic partner, which started after she took his help to get herself a job. Paul is shown to be genuinely in love with Georgia and therefore, unsurprisingly supports and loves her even when the ugly truth of her past resurfaces, with consequences.
