Welcome back, Peaches! Netflix's hit show Ginny and Georgia is officially under production and might premiere on your television screens in Spring 2025. While there is no release date yet, the show is expected to premiere around June 2025.

Fans eagerly await the show's return after the shocking finale of Season 2, which ruled Netflix's Top 10 charts for two months in 88 countries.

Season 2 saw Georgia getting arrested for Tom's murder after she (kind of) murdered him by suffocating him with a pillow to end his family's suffering. But since the law doesn't account for emotions, she gets arrested in the finale at her own wedding. Season 3 will pick up right after this shocking cliffhanger.

More on Ginny and Georgia Season 3 in our story.

It's a production wrap for Ginny and Georgia Season 3

While Netflix is notoriously known for pulling the plug on many fan favorites, Ginny and Georgia finally managed to survive as the show was announced for Season 3, and filming began in May 2024 in Toronto. In fact, even before Season 3 had a release date, the show was also renewed for Season 4.

Netflix's Tudum reported that the show officially wrapped up shooting in early September, which means that Season 3 is currently under post-production. While there is no release date as of yet, considering previous release patterns, it can be speculated that Season 3 might arrive in Spring 2025.

In an interview with Netflix's Tudum, Antonia Gentry (Ginny) expressed herself on the last days of shooting for Season 3,

“It’s always bittersweet to finish up a season. I know we’re not even done yet, and we still have post-production and blah blah blah. But I just want to see what we’ve managed to create this season, and see if people love it.”

Who is in the cast for Ginny and Georgia Season 3?

Talking with Netflix's Tudum, Howey discussed about Season 3,

“We’re trying to take a lot of pictures, and I know in my heart that we have an amazing season ahead of us. Everyone’s worked so hard and the scripts are so good, and we’re just so proud.”

While Season 2 saw Georgia finally getting her dream wedding, it looked like she could escape her past life, but she gets arrested in Season 2's final moments. With nobody to look after Ginny and Austin after Georgia's arrest, it would be interesting to see how the mother-daughter duo will survive this hurdle in Season 3.

Creator Sarah Lampert discussed in an interview with Netflix's Tudum that Georgia needed to kill someone for the story of Season 3 to pan out as they had planned,

“Georgia needed to kill someone and she needed to kill someone in Wellsbury, Massachusetts...“We can’t wrap it up in a pretty bow. That’s not real life. That’s certainly not Georgia’s life. It never has been. Why would it start to be her life now?''

She added:

[Season 3 will add] ''new hurdles, new relationships, and new challenges in a way we haven’t seen before on the show.”
