Shark Tank investor Robert Herjavec recently dropped a video explaining the real meaning behind motivation and how it is the "hardest challenge" when an individual is trying to start something new. They often mistake it for temporary passion towards the goal and the excitement it brings, but Robert says, that is not true.

He highlights how there are days when this short-term motivation will not work because there will be some personal challenges that are wearing them down. However, even during these, they can get up and dedicate their time and attention to their goal; he says it is true motivation.

"The difference between success and mediocrity lies in what you do on those days," Robert wrote.

According to the Shark Tank investor, entrepreneurs who push through even on these bad days when it feels like the world is trying to pull them apart, are the ones who set a path for their success. He points out that most of the people who start with a false sense of motivation, give up when the times are hard.

But the ones who keep going even if it is not easy are walking towards achieving their goals sooner or later. Robert says that the concept of "perfect moment" is a hoax and it all just boils down to showing up every single day.

Agreeing with his stance on the topic of motivation, Shark Tank fans supported his views. A Twitter user by the name @joshsetvin wrote,

"Fully agree. I’d make more money if I was just motivated a little more. All my efforts directly affect my outcomes. More coffee!"
