What to expect from Fire Country Season 3 Episode 7
In the upcoming episode, Bode is reaching the end of his firefighting training, but it's not going to be smooth sailing for him, especially after the fallout with Camden in episode six. Bode and Camden's relationship strained after Bode didn't pay attention to Camden's order during a bird rescue operation.
This conflict has led Camden to doubt Bode's readiness to become a firefighter. Camden will be listing five reasons why a cadet won't graduate, leaving fans curious about Bode's career. Max Thieriot, the actor who brought Bode to life talked about his character's fate and an upcoming hostage situation in an interview with TV Line. He said:
"There’s a core group of people that will definitely be in danger and sort of walk into a situation that they’re not expecting... And yeah, it’s kind of a wild, exciting episode of something that seems very routine that goes bad really quickly."
Episode seven is expected to take an unexpected turn when Bode and Camden respond to an alarm call and find it out as a false alarm. However, that phone call would soon initiate a dangerous hostage situation, thus risking everyone's life.
During this tough situation, Audrey will offer Bode a warning about his last chance to become a firefighter. As explained by the actor, the team must work together to handle the situation, especially Bode, who is on the edge.
A quick recap of what happened in Fire Country Season 3 episode 6
In the previous episode of Season 3, the firefighters were seen balancing their duties and relationships with other characters. From a notable confrontation to an unexpected move, episode six featured fresh tensions.
During his training, Bode is tasked with handling the fire threatening the town's newly hatched baby eagles. While everyone is focused on protecting the birds, Camden's priority is saving the lives of humans, even if it means destroying the eagle's nest.
Considering the tense situation, Vince suggested an even more challenging solution, which included saving the birds and ensuring everyone's safety. A conflict between Bode and Camden arises when Bode doesn't follow Camden's orders and sticks to Vince's plan. He then follows Francine to the forest to save the bird, proving his loyalty and determination to complete the mission.
Though the rescue mission was successful, Camden wasn't happy with Bode. The sixth episode also explored Cam's trauma of losing his brother due to fire, which has affected him emotionally.
In the episode, Bode was also seen sharing his childhood adventures with eagles and joking around. In an unexpected twist, Bode started flirting with Audrey, leaving Gabs uncomfortable in the situation. Though she is bothered by Bode's changed behavior, Gabriela doesn't confront him.
The episode concluded with Gabriela crossing paths with Cam at a bar, hinting at a potential love triangle. As Fire Country is reaching its finale, the emotional stakes will rise and make way for more stories to tell.
