Since its initial premiere, Fire Country has become a fan-favorite drama on CBS. It has garnered a devoted fan base not only due to its premise but also due to the character-based storytelling.

Interestingly, Fire Country is inspired by Max Thieriot's own experiences in Northern California where he lived among areas susceptible to wildfires. Though the series isn't entirely grounded in his life, the experiences of the actor bring credibility to the story.

Similar to the previous chapters, Fire Country Season 3 has also introduced several engaging plots. Its main character, Bode, has finally transformed into a brave firefighter. While talking about the latest season Thieriot said:

"We believe we have a lot of really good stuff to mine from here going forward."

Not only this, the SEAL Team star was also right about Bode and Audrey's relationship, as the two are now dating. Thieriot previously explained:

"[Audrey] adds such a different presence in the fire station and in Bode’s life. She and Bode have lived so many of the same life experiences that most people don’t go through, and their ability to relate to one another and really see each other is unique and special."

Even though many fans still want Gabby and Bode to reunite as a couple, Bode seems happy with Audrey. However, life hasn't been that good lately in Fire Country Season 3, as Birch's shocking demise has left everyone heartbroken.

Additionally, the latest episode featured Gabby's father and Three Rock inmate Manny being seriously ill. As the episode progresses, a poisonous truth unravels.

As the Fire Country Season 3 Episode 15 begins, we see Manny has been admitted to a hospital where he's looked after by his daughter Gabriela, aka Gabby. Since Eve was the one who noticed Manny showed signs similar to Birch, she's also curious to know what's causing this sickness at the Three Rock.

A doctor from toxicology steps in and informs that Manny has been diagnosed with pesticide poisoning. Since it's a serious condition, the doctors would monitor Manny's kidney function for a few days to avoid organ failure.

After learning his condition, Manny tells Eve that this could have been the case with Birch as well. Even then asks the doctor, and she replies that there could be a number of things like food, chemicals, and landfills that can cause organophosphates.

The doctor then suggests that the entire camp be tested, and Eve takes charge of the same. The scene then shifts to Bode and Audrey together, with Bode being concerned about Manny and his grandfather being taken to the Buena Vista Memory Care, a place where Walter doesn't want to go.

Walter's condition has made it clear that he needs round-the-clock care, and the facility is where he can be given such service. However, Walter argues and then reminds Vince of his sacrifices, and the two get into a heated exchange of words.

Later in the Fire Country Season 3 episode, Walter eventually agrees and Bode and Vince take him to the care facility. This way, the Leone family arrives at a bittersweet resolution to ther struggles.

One of the main events in Fire Country Season 3 Episode 15 is Even finding out that the entire Three Rock camp is facing health issues. She is startled to see that every prisoner is sick and quickly analyzes the situation.

Eve realizes that the water can be an issue, as she has been drinking from her personal water cooler, while the inmates rely on tap water. The captain suspects contamination and immediately discards the use of tap water.

While Eve requested an emergency water bottle supply, the stormy weather has made it hard for everyone to carry out their jobs. Chaos took over the town when two surfers took a huge risk by trying to ride a massive wave.

Their trial soon turns deadly as one of them, named Rocco, gets fatally injured when a piece of driftwood pierces his body. The surfer was immediately taken to the firehouse, but removing the wood was incredibly dangerous, and they waited for the weather to get stable to take the surfer to the hospital.

While Audrey and Gabby are talking about Bode's new side job and Gabby's potential future with Finn, Rocco's friend tries to move out and soon suffers a seizure, indicating a potentially serious issue.

The shocking truth about the poisoning in Fire Country Season 3 Episode 15

As the Fire Country Season 3 episode progresses, Eve receives help from Sharon to find out if the water is contaminated. They trace the source of the contaminated water back to Oxalta, a powerful chemical company with deep political connections.

The company has been illegally dumping deadly chemicals into the water, which isn't just affecting the Three Rock but also putting numerous lives in danger. As seen in the previous episode, Eve wanted Birch's sister to initiate an autopsy, but she somehow got convinced to cremate his dead body.

Now, it looks like Oxalta has been doing this, and since it has strong connections, the company can easily save itself. Meanwhile, Bode and Jake were tasked with rescuing stranded fishermen at the flooded Point Crux Lighthouse, now a museum.

However, while saving a woman's life, Bode's back gets injured, but the firefighter doesn't stop. As the Fire Country Season 3 episode comes to an end, Bode faces a new challenge— his probation officer questions his interaction with known felons, putting him at risk of returning to jail.

In a shocking turn of events, Jake's girlfriend, Violet, lands her dream job at Oxalta Corporation. She celebrates this with Jake, who's currently unaware that it's the very company that has caused Birch's death.
