90 Day Fiancé couple Greg and Joan are facing the biggest issue in their engagement: his mother. Greg is currently residing at his mom's house, and this is creating trouble with Joan. She came to America from Uganda to be with him and explore the relationship for 90 days before tying the knot.

Even though Greg seems like a nice guy, he has to listen to his mother because he does not have a stable job and does not pay rent to her. When Joan came to the house, she was asked to live in a separate bedroom from Greg because her mother does not want to hear them being intimate.

Later, she was questioned about her showering habits. Joan revealed that she bathes almost three times a day, but the matriarch was not on board with this, as she was worried about the water bill.

In the most recent episode of 90 Day Fiancé, we saw that Greg and Joan were intimate only when his mother left for work. In a confessional, he expressed his frustration about the same and said,

"So when it comes to intimacy and making love, and I don’t, I don’t want things to feel like they are scheduled, you know, like, oh, mom’s going to be working from three to two or something. But it’s like, it is what it is. I have to deal with it. It’s like, Oh my God, like I have all this energy and all this, this, this testosterone just built up and s–t."

90 Day Fiancé couple Greg and Joan are troubled by their living situation

Greg does not have a job, which is making it difficult for him to move out. Despite not being happy with the situation he is in, the 90 Day Fiancé star is not making any efforts to get out and actively seek work.

This is making Joan furious, who wants him to step out of the house. Previously, on the sixth episode, she asked him when it would be possible for the two of them to have their own place.

Greg said that he can not afford it right now because of has $8000 in debt. He is also saving for their upcoming wedding, and thus, it puts his wallet in a tight spot. Joan was not happy with the answer as she was hoping they would have their own place in six or seven months.

This is what prompted her to give him an ultimatum: either get a job and move out or she will go back to Uganda.

In the 90 Day Fiancé seventh episode, Joan called up her family back home, and they talked about her marriage. Her folks were also concerned about the living situation and urged Greg to get a job.

They then asked about the dowry situation. However, Joan had not talked to him about it yet because of the "personal issues" that are already going on and the fact that he is not in a great financial space. She said,

"I haven’t really talked to Greg about the dowry issue because we still have like our personal issues. So, I don’t know how he’s really going to pay for the dowry because he’s not financially stable for now.”

By the end of their segment on 90 Day Fiancé, Joan reiterated her ultimatum and said that if he doesn't get a job, she will go back to Uganda.

She also talked about the Bride Price, where her family needs to be given 15 cows in exchange for her hand in marriage. Each cow is worth 200 dollars, which will take the total to $3000. Greg, who is already in debt, was shocked to hear about it.
