What happened in FBI Season 7 Episode 15: A quick recap
Fan-favorite Maggie had just decided to move on in her life and start a new relationship, but soon her personal life was put on hold in FBI Season 7 Episode 15 "Acolyte". The agent takes on the murder of Vanessa Walker, a federal employee known for making tough job cuts.
What's chilling about this case is that Vanessa has been brutally stabbed multiple times and since she was previously blackmailed by a man named Mack Fuller, the team makes him the initial suspect. However, the lack of evidence against Fuller proved he didn't eliminate Vanessa.
The murder mystery became even more complicated when the agents discovered another victim, Laura Flemming, who had been killed days earlier. As their quest continues, a threatening letter sent to the DOJ confirms that the FBI is dealing with a serial killer.
As the investigation continues, a link between the murders and notorious serial slasher Ray DiStefano comes to light. However, Ray was already behind bars, and his signature attack was being copied by the real culprit. The agents then suspect Wesley Cookler, a former butcher-turned-cab driver.
It's later revealed that Cookler was actually an alias for Darryl Ricklan who has been following Ray's way of committing crimes. In a shocking twist, Ricklan has already captured another victim and was closely keeping a tab on the FBI's investigation.
Not only this, the killer also taunted Maggie for turning the case into a deadly game of cat and mouse. Darryl Ricklan's obsession peaks when he decides to prove that he's a better killer than Ray and decides to make Maggie his final victim.
Before he can create more chaos and life-threatening situations, Agent Scola shoots him. While the agents have put an end to Darryl's murder spree, Maggie has become Ray's enemy as she tricked him into solving the case.
