When Hana and Ethan reached the VA hospital, they found themselves under a hostage attack. Danny Harrigan was the main culprit behind this hostage attack. She held the VA hospital premises under a hostage situation because her friend Carver was not given a full disability status after being injured on duty. Hana informs her FGT teammates via a text about the situation they are trapped in, and soon they reach the site.

Even after several attempts, the VA refused to tag Carver as fully disabled. Danny and Carver tried all means to get the full disability status, but the VA did not cooperate and paid only half the amount.

Danny, who was detached from her family, sought peace in Carver; thus, she decided to take the hospital under a hostage situation. In between the chaos, Danny shot the security; even though Carver tried to make her understand, she did not listen. The FBI finally sent a negotiator, but Danny grew restless.

Meanwhile, Agent Sheryll stepped in, took the lead, and tried to pacify the situation as SSA Remy Scott was on vacation. Danny released the security guard and even asked for a pizza treat. Sheryll soon realized that Dani was armed with guns, bombs, and IEDs.

Ethan tried to manipulate Danny by posing some questions to her; meanwhile, Hana alerted her teammates about their location.

Danny fell sick and started vomiting as a withdrawal symptom; Carver offered him drugs to soothe him down. However, a headstrong Ethan refused to have it. On the other hand, due to a leak within the media, Carver and Danny realized there's an FBI agent among the hostages. When Carver and Danny began to question the hostages, Hana identified herself as a fed agent.

Danny warned Agent Sheryll that if their demands were not fulfilled, they would shoot Hana. In a twist of events, when the snipers aimed to kill Danny, they missed the target, and the bullet hit Carver, killing him.

To save Hana, Ethan told Danny that he was a fed agent and Hana was simply trying to cover up. Ethan requested that Danny not kill him in front of Hana; thus, she took him in the hallway.

Ethan again tried to talk to Danny and make her understand that there was a way out from the mess that she created. Ethan delivered an emotional speech about his life and tried to sway Danny's decision. However, Danny decided to kill herself and not Ethan. As she was going to shoot herself, Hana stopped Danny from taking the drastic step. In the meantime, the SWAT and the FGT team arrived at the location and took Danny into custody. In an emotional moment, Hana and Ethan hold each other and realize that they loved each other till now.
