FBI: International Season 4 Episode 18 recap: Vo and Raines have a difficult decision to make

FBI: International Season 4 Episode 18 saw the Fly Team travelling to Georgia to investigate an attack on two American soldiers at the Georgian training centre.

Tyler Booth helps Wes, and together they conclude that the attack was part of Georgia's anti-American motive and are successfully able to neutralize their second attack on the US embassy.

Before going to Georgia, Wes Mitchell makes an important announcement to Agent Cameron Vo and Agent Andre Raines. He announces that one of them could get an upcoming promotion and lets the two of them decide on it.

Considering both Vo and Raines are best friends, who have wanted to climb the professional ladder for a long time, they have an important decision to make.

Breakdown and main events in FBI: International Season 4 Episode 18

With FBI: International Season 4 heading to its finale, which will unfortunately conclude the spin-off series, the procedural is trying its best to tie up all the loose ends and give its characters a befitting conclusion.

Before the main event in FBI: International Season 4 Episode 18, Wes Mitchell calls Vo and Raines in his office to announce a major job opening. Wes tells them there is a GS-14 promotion at the HQ, and both are being considered for the position.

Since they both are important and original members of the Fly Team, Wes doesn't have his favorites, but he asks them to consider the promotion and tell him their decisions soon. Since only one of them could get the promotion, it would be interesting to see who will be transferred to a different team.

Elsewhere in FBI: International Season 4 Episode 18, Agent Tyler traveled to Georgia to help Wes on a case. Two American soldiers, who were training at the NATO-Georgia joint training center, were gunned down by a Georgian trainee, and the Fly Team was reeled in to investigate the motive behind the attack.

Wes and his team conclude that the attack was not random, but a part of Georgia's anti-American motive. Wes quickly realised that the group would soon target the local US embassy, which currently had Tyler and other team members.

As it turns out, Wes's instincts were right, and Tyler and the team were attacked in the embassy, with Natia trying to destroy top-secret information outside. When they are attacked, Natia is paralysed with fear and unable to move, which forces Tyler to leave her outside and close the door to the safe room.

Smitty Garrettson eventually saves her, and the Fly Team successfully neutralizes the threat. Later, Tyler apologizes to Natia for leaving her outside during the attack, but she understands his dilemma and forgives him.

In the closing moments of FBI: International Season 4 Episode 18, Dean, Wes's biological father, tries to reach him from prison. He calls Amanda on her phone and asks her to patch him through to his son. Wes takes the call but eventually refuses to help him with his upcoming hearing, suggesting some closure with his biological father.
